Bearable until they started charging
Very average journalism, and slightly buggy at times, but a nice way of quickly checking what was going on around the area. However, now having to pay to see the articles (some free allowance not specified) but the website, with ads, is free. The change has been very poorly communicated. App now deleted.

Very good local news
Very good news but the Surrey App doesn’t often work properly as it can be very slow or interpreted.
Sick of the spam
This used to be a good app, the same as the online versions, yet lately there is just constant spam or absolute rubbish click bait being peddled
Don’t waste your time
Awful app, adverts for clickbait get in the way of ‘stories’. Too many ‘Opinions’ and sponsored reviews, journalism is very poor, bad spelling and use of language. Questionable GDPR maintenance by Reach PLC, it’s not about local news, it’s about advertising revenue for Reach. Avoid and get local news elsewhere
