Very good news but the Surrey App doesn’t often work properly as it can be very slow or interpreted.
Sick of the spam
This used to be a good app, the same as the online versions, yet lately there is just constant spam or absolute rubbish click bait being peddled
Don’t waste your time
Awful app, adverts for clickbait get in the way of ‘stories’. Too many ‘Opinions’ and sponsored reviews, journalism is very poor, bad spelling and use of language. Questionable GDPR maintenance by Reach PLC, it’s not about local news, it’s about advertising revenue for Reach. Avoid and get local news elsewhere

This has got to be up there with some of the most appalling apps for infringement of individual rights, it’s nigh on impossible to deselect all the vendor consent options making it verging on rights infringement.

As a Surrey born Englishman (Epsom Hospital, August 1956) now living in Adelaide (South Australia) this site is invaluable in keeping abreast of everything happening at home. Actually makes Me feel like I’m still there. Five out of Five from Me.
Surrey live review
Every time something new comes up on my phone I cannot retrieve it. It comes up ‘refresh’. I push the refresh button and nothing happens. Very disappointed PT F 1
Doesn’t work
Looked interesting. Trying to create an account consistently resulted in “an unknown error occurred” with no suggestion how to continue.
Get rid of ads
Useful app for people that live in Surrey however is there an option to go ad free? I find having adverts quite frustrating and annoying
App Icon query
My app. Icon is showing a number in a red circle at its top right hand corner which I can’t seem to get rid of! Same applies to the My London app. Icon. Any advice welcome please.

Love Surrey News
I love Surrey news but I wish they would concentrate on Surrey. I can accept the London Boroughs such as Sutton and Croydon but areas in Sussex, Hampshire or Hounslow in London are a bit of a stretch.
Would be better if it was local news
I downloaded this app for local news eg accidents, crime, etc all I get is coronavirus crap so uninstalled as everything is coronavirus numbers not interested thanks
Screen keeps going black
Screen goes black and stays black. UPDATE. I reinstalled it and got a shiny new version of Surrey Live.

Why has Surrey live chosen the worst time to switch comments off ? It’s overhaul must be being done by Mickey Mouse it’s taking so long !
Cookies impossible to manage
There is a link to manage your cookies but if you click reject all it defaults to accept all when you try to save. How can I delete the cookies that are now installed on my phone without having to reset everything? Annoyed. I think I will delete the app though I don’t think that will get rid of the cookies.

Severe battery drain
App eats though battery due to background activity. It didn’t used to do this. Fix it please.
