Pros & Cons
While this newest SV Max app shows promise, it still lacks some very basic user functionality. For instance, with the original app, when you open it, it shows all cameras started in live mode in a grid automatically with a single tap which is great. I’ve yet to figure out how to do this in the new app. Instead, it starts with a single camera, you must tap the camera and then you must tap a second icon to start live mode. These extra taps are a showstopper for me. However, the new app does allow direct access to WDR settings while the old one doesn’t. So, some pros, but currently more cons for me. I’ll stick with original app for now. Definite room for improvements.
