Why you have settings for? It does whatever it likes.

Modem Connection failed
This modem for the cameras won’t connect when I scan the QR code - have reset multiple times with no luck, very frustrating system to use with no help or support easily accessible!
Packed with features
After pairing with my iPhone, I found so many useful features and all worked very well.
Latest update honey allows low resolution video on the app
The lightest update only shows videos in low resolution. Other users are complaining about this issue. The video is blurry when replayed on an iPad.

Awesome but not perfection
I’ve been happy with my Swann MaxRanger 4 camera system overall. The cameras produce good-quality footage and have been reliable. The app can be a little laggy at times, but it works well around 80% of the time, so it’s not a major issue.
I did have two cameras replaced under warranty, but the process was simple and hassle-free. Swann’s customer service handled it well, which was reassuring.
My only real criticism is the mounting brackets. They’re a bit flimsy and could definitely be upgraded to something sturdier. Aside from that, I’d recommend the system to anyone looking for a good wireless security camera setup.

Useless app and useless system
App won’t start anymore. When I try to open it, it crashes completely—even after reinstalling.
Other issues? Where do I even begin?
The app is inconsistent with what I can see on the actual device when it’s connected to my screen via HDMI. Settings are all over the place and occasionally missmatching app settings.
One camera drains the battery within a week regardless of the settings, location or battery.
Recording is also unreliable. It will stop recording for up to half a day for no reason (and no, it isn’t a sensitivity or another settings issue). When it does record, the detection seems to start recording only at the very end of the event. For example, if someone walks by, it only captures them as they’re leaving the frame—just the last couple of seconds—while the rest of the recording is just nothing happening at all.
I could keep going, but overall this system feels really bad and like a waste of money.

Poor app pic quality
I have used Swann security app for many years. However have found that the app pic quality is not as good as it used to be. Before you could select the quality level. Low and high. But now you can’t and the app pic quality is not as clear or high quality
Latest update ruined app
After the update at the end of July the app will not connect with my Cameras. Everything was fine and worked well until they screwed up the app. I will be looking for a different system due to no customer service to speak with and it does not work now.
No support
After last update got problem with quick review on the app and there is nobody to help at least you pay monthly radical amount of money…. Very disappointing.
Amazing but there is plenty of room to grow
It would be great to have camera pan and tilt with built in solar option that has auto detection capabilities. Let’s day camera sensor that can be triggered if something happens to the opposite direction of the lense. So it can quickly turn and record.

So my husband purchased the 3 camera and hub set due to him being gone in the oilfields and me being alone was his biggest fear with proof of two prior break-ins both while we were gone. This set is amazing you can filter where you want to catch activity specifically, make a schedule tailored to you and your life very fast and simple, and can record everything in 4k! My husband can check in on me while he is gone, and annoy me with the two way communication on all of the cameras as well. We are in the process of buying the wireless door bell as well as a couple extra cameras for our back yard. These cameras are the best and worth the investment, so far we have had them outdoors in Idaho weather conditions so far they are going strong in 115 degree heat in the day and the desert cold at night. The only thing I wish I could change is the company including three chargers for the cameras instead of one, because when it comes to charging them only their C-Cable charging cord will fit. Making it hard to charge all the cameras at once.

Update made things worse
After the update when I’m looking at live view, everything still looks kind of blurry like the quality is not very good when I have 4K cameras. When I look at a playback, it looks normal and the quality is good. But I can’t view my cameras live with good quality.

Cameras and equipment
Whilst I do like Swann the new app update doesn’t always allow for ff or rewinding cameras are prone to ghosting even when rebooting camera aspects (1080) not always available can not select settings on cameras since the update it’s rubbish I have current cameras with lights and sounds
Recording issue
I’m having problem camera not recoding when it should be recording battery being fully charged. It might be a faulty sensor on camera as sometimes dose it and other times not.
Please help to fix the problem asap.
