Landscape view broken on iOS devices
Recent update completely broke landscape rotation on iOS. Manual expansion buttons are missing and AssistiveTouch rotation overrides fail. Please restore horizontal viewing layout.
Worst app
It’s the worst app I’ve ever had too slow or won’t connect to cameras most of the time .
Useless app
The app worked on all our devices for about a year but now won’t load up at all. I got in touch with SwannView support and they advised me to restart everything from my router to all my devices and the DVR itself. I did this and it worked for a couple of days and then wouldn’t load the channels up on my devices again. I’ve been through the same rigmarole several times to view my cameras and now I’ve just given up. For an expensive system as it was this is not good enough from SwannView. I would not recommend them as all the forums and reviews complain about the same thing. The quality of the cameras is really good and the night vision is nice but what good is this if you can’t view them or play back on any devices. Absolute rubbish

Swann systems
I have used Swann for the last 7 years and to be honest, the system are no where near comparable to what other systems offer. The quality is terrible and the apps don’t work with ease. Too many pauses and drop outs.

Unless you are a technician don’t bother, and Swann customer service are rude and have do not support/help with anything at all except reply with emails that only a technician can understand. Do any human being work for Swann………….
No updates
After IOS update, app no longer stable, and continues to crash and close.
Very unreliable
The app shows lots of missing patches in the recording when I use playback there are several Blue and White blocks on the recorded areas, the white blocks are totally blank. Is it the app or is it the camera system that is poor quality? Let’s hope I don’t need to use it in an emergency.
