Worst app

It’s the worst app I’ve ever had too slow or won’t connect to cameras most of the time .

Useless app

The app worked on all our devices for about a year but now won’t load up at all. I got in touch with SwannView support and they advised me to restart everything from my router to all my devices and the DVR itself. I did this and it worked for a couple of days and then wouldn’t load the channels up on my devices again. I’ve been through the same rigmarole several times to view my cameras and now I’ve just given up. For an expensive system as it was this is not good enough from SwannView. I would not recommend them as all the forums and reviews complain about the same thing. The quality of the cameras is really good and the night vision is nice but what good is this if you can’t view them or play back on any devices. Absolute rubbish

FAQ

What does SwannView Link do?

SwannView Link allows you to view live feeds from your Swann NVR (Network Video Recorder) or DVR (Digital Video Recorder) systems directly on your iPhone or tablet. You can also play back stored recordings, capture video clips, and take still images.

What are the key features of SwannView Link?

Key features include live multi-channel viewing of up to 16 cameras, playback of recorded footage, the ability to capture live video and still images, and remote control of PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras. You can also configure many settings directly from your device.

Is SwannView Link free to use?

Yes, the application is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned in the provided description.

What devices are compatible with SwannView Link?

The app is designed for iPhone and tablets. For optimal performance, especially for high-resolution playback and viewing more than 8 cameras simultaneously, current model handsets and tablets are recommended. Older DVRs or iOS hardware may experience degraded features or functionality.

How does SwannView Link use data?

This app uses a data stream to connect to your Swann NVR/DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi. When using 3G/4G, the video stream may be considered 'downloads' by your phone service provider and could contribute to your data plan limits, potentially incurring additional charges. It's advisable to consult your mobile provider about using video streaming apps.
