Camera is good, software is funky
As usual with most of these Chinese products I buy the software is full of bugs and the support is almost nonexistent

Stopped working after about a year.
When it did work, it was all right, but took a little too long to connect I only used it when reversing into a tight spot. But now it doesn’t work at all.

iOS 18.4.1 (22E252)
The cam doesn’t work with this new operating system. I purchased a new iPhone 16 with current iOS 18.4.1 & the app doesn’t work no picture on the application, phone connects to wifi signal but when opening the swd app the picture is not showing up on the phone screen. I Tried older phones with older iOS and works fine please let me know how to fix this as I use the app every day for truck loading.

Used to work but not now
I used this for a backup camera. Used to work. Turn on camera. On phone, select wifi for the camera, open this app and see what the camera sees. I’m doing all the same steps and getting an error message that I haven’t selected the wifi. No image now. Makes backup camera useless.
SWD camera not very bright
I have the SWD camera and app. The combination works well, my only complaint is the picture on the iPhone is not very bright. Is there a way to make it brighter? I have the brightness turned all the way up.

Horse trailer
I installed this in my horse trailer, to be able to see my horses while I travel down the road. Other models will not get a signal to my pick up cab. This camera with its external antenna does a great job!
Does not work
No recent reviews, but looks like software does not work with the camera. The app and camera don’t talk, so no picture. I essentially bought an expensive, high security-risk paperweight.

Worked right out of the box
This app works fine with my wireless magnetic mounted backup cam. Good, solid picture.
Bad camera
Don’t buy this camera is to much money for what can do it after couple weeks start having problems to connected to the camera I think the antenna is not good enough for strong signal I have a small truck and no signal after 10 feet worst camera you can paid less for a better camera.

The display is dim. I wish there were brightness and contrast settings.

Full Screen Please
When using phone in landscape mode, it would be a huge improvement to have a full screen view. Is this possible as an upgrade? Thanks!
Easy and solid
This thing is so well designed, if I could give it 6 stars I would. Thoughtful touches, like an on-off switch in the cigarette lighter plug for initial testing of the camera before you permanently wire it in. Software is easy and intuitive to use. I was concerned that having the phone connected to the wifi server in the unit would block cell phone data, since the phone normally prioritizes a strong wifi signal over cell data, but it knows the wifi is not internet connected and just uses the cell data for maps etc. Not sure why a reviewer complaint about having to select the wi-fi network every time you use it – both my phone and my wife’s phone automatically grab the signal when the car is turned on. I wired mine into the license plate light since I didn’t want to wait for the short wifi connection delay that would happen if I had wired it to the backup lights, and it works great. Lousy App
The people who sell these cameras need to realize that the reason many folks are complaining is because of the APP not the camera.
Sellers: get off your butts and pay someone some decent money to write the software needed to come up with a good app.
Would be nice to be able to adjust things like brightness, color saturation, hue, contrast, etc. As it stands right now, this app is totally worthless.
