If, as quoted "about 5 million people" have chosen to try this method..... then why can I see no other reviews?
It takes children several years to acquire a language by this method, so to state 'a month' is a tad optimistic.

Poor quality control
I purchased this for my daughter. The pictures and words don't always match (in addition there are some really odd and inappropriate pictures linked to some words). The app has potential to be really good-but they seem to have messed up on quality control for this version.

I admit that I have managed to learn some Swedish through this app and would have given it 3 or 4 stars had it continued to work. The point and repeat back style does work. I would say that some of the pictures are a somewhat ambiguous and I had to check with Swedish friends what they meant. I just tried to get stuck into more lessons today but there's suddenly no audio (yes, it is switched on, and I checked iTunes that it was the app and not my iPad ). It just seems like overnight I can no longer listen to the native speakers, rendering this pretty much useless for me. It's a real shame and very disappointing as I am visiting Sweden on Thursday and had really wanted to be able to say a bit more than 'yellow JCB' and 'pink dress'. :(
**Update: I have updated this to 4 stars as I think I have worked out the issue with the lack of sound - I think if your iPad has the ringer turned off, then the app won't speak, regardless of whether the in-app settings are on. Now I have my sound back I am a happier bunny.**

App not working on iPad since iOS7 update
The app freezes after reading the first card in the lesson. This appears to have started after the upgrade to iOS 7.
Ok for learning vocab
This app shows you a picture, tells you the Swedish then tests your memory after 6 pictures. Only problem is it doesn't tell you the English equivalent and the pictures aren't always that clear what the vocab means. If you're good at deduction you can sometimes work it out when the word appears in various sentences but its not the easiest way to learn! Also, it gives you no understanding of the grammar. There's also some 'interesting' vocabulary for a basic Swedish app - I have no idea when I might need to say "the giraffe has no money"!

Great but.....
..... It crashes frequently. I definitely don't regret buying this app, but it crashes before it opens lately. Too bad. The user interface is very simple and the lack of English or translations is awesome, you learn through associations. With an update to fix crashes this would be 5 star

Crash with os6
The content is great, but applicaion crashed with io6! The content deserves 5 stars, but the application is RIGHT NOW is useless with io6.
App crashing
Love the app it was really helping me but with IOS 6 I can't even open it, it crashes upon opening every time. Please fix!
Needs update for iOS6!
I love this app, and use it daily. It has helped me with my vocabulary immensely. I love that there is two modes (writing and listening) to aid comprehension. HOWEVER, I just updated to iOS6 today and the app crashes when in writing mode. Please fix, as this app has helped me so much! Tack så mycket!
