Worth it
Exactly what I was missing with Surfline. SwellScope lets me identify what surf I like and then lets me know if it’s hitting the same or similar. Watching cams or looking at star reviews doesn’t help as much as that.

Great app, shows you the conditions and allows you to log sessions so you can see how the conditions compare to previous days. Dev is also awesome with communication and giving feedback on updates. 10/10⭐️

I never thought a forecast website could solve the secret spot dilemma up until this. I can set my spot and it’s just set for myself, nobody else gets to see it! What more do you want. Let’s go!
Good and bad
Great tools for surf and wind direction etc but condition reports constantly “Excellent” or “good” at worst. Even when condition are definitely bad
Uniquely helpful
My primary source before heading out. I have to drive a minimum hour and a hour to reach a surf spot, swell scope helps me pick the best spots with information that’s easy to understand and custom to my spots.
My only wish list item is being able to locate spots a bit faster, a Google Maps integration of some sort would go a long ways but I love Swell Scope all the same

I am a lifeguard and I use this app daily to get further information on the conditions and predictions on future conditions, I have been using this since the beta release and I recommend it to all the lifeguards I work with because of the level of detail it goes into!

Nice New Surf Tool
Use this for my place in Nica, the Bahamas and it is spot on. Great new visual tools to plan for any spot on the planet.
Best surf forecast app out there
Forecasting every spot out there, yourself. What a dream.
Looks great!
Just downloaded (lifetime backer from kickstarter) and really impressed. Still have yet to get out, but really unique how you are able to select the spot and tailor it. Get insight provided for the experienced swell tracker, and also simple enough for someone that is new. I was tired of how far Surfline is off at my local swell (commentary does not match my local break at all) and mainly use it for the cams.

So useful
This app has been so so useful for charting out spots and especially logging them. Keeping track of what tides, and swell directions have been the most fun has been super useful.
My one wish is to have a forecast view on the homepage where I can see the 3 day view across all spots i have marked. Other than that, perfect.

Great App
Has a great interface to show wind and swell height, direction, period and energy all at once. Ability to set your own swell direction window angles is great and found the predictions to be reliable on the Aus East Coast.

Amazing App
Used this all since their beta release and been absolutely loving it. The fact that you can set a spot anywhere in the world and see the forecast for it it’s so helpful, specially for those who love the feeling of the search and score some gems. Also the logbook feature has been so helpful to be able to make the right call on certain swells , never disappoints!
