Wayyy better than the original Swift Command App
Jay Dorling
Absolutely useless
This works well for my escape 604
Until the van gets to talk IP it doesn’t get much better than this! Maybe tune the response time? Hey I am getting picky. Thanks guys.
Awful
Frustrated!
Aside from resetting the heating settings, including turning off the timer hot water when connecting the Bluetooth, lost all reference to the onboard tank on the main caravan display - twice - and had to go into the advanced settings of the head unit to be able to fill it.
Earlier version of the app, whilst having less functionality, worked with no issues.
If it worked as supposed to, potentially a very useful app.
Nil stars
N.B. I wrote this in a spirit of frustration but I must say that I have been contacted and given help on resetting the app. And I’ve seen an improvement. Not 100% there yet, but definitely much better, and so reassured that that there is a real person willing to help personally, not by sending an e mail with ‘helpful’ tips, but by phone contact. Thank you x.
Very unstable
Significant improvement
Update:
Originally I gave the app 4 stars. After I posted the review above I received an update from the developer that they are going to get rid of the screen pop up (which was an error) in the next week or so. I am very pleased with the fast response and the action being taken
Can no longer connect to the Command
Override/boost
Ps. Having had a response to this feedback I realise that there is a manual override which you can use but the new app doesn’t allow you to set it for a specific amount of time like the old app. I used to like the fact that you could boost for an hour or so and after that the system goes back to timer. I found this particularly helpful.
Every update send to make it worse!
Not impressed so far.
Initial reactions, disappointing
The UI is awfully unappealing. Blue on black. Yugh! No visually impact. Designed by coders not by UI specialists? An immediate turn off.
The first version has colour in it which made it visually more appealing.
For me, The most important function of this software, the one I use most, is to monitor the battery / solar charging. There is a battery voltage graph. It’s worse than the previous one, it smaller. It still shows the voltage from, 0 to 20v when you sew actually interested in a far smaller range, perhaps 11.5 to 13.8. Previously I had a van with a phantom tracker, the graph auto ranged to cover the voltage ranges measured, not a fixed range. Far better.
Hardly used the new app. So a more considered view will follow.
Decent update
Furious at forced upgrade
If you want a version for the new controller then by all means release a 2024 version for the brand new vans. For the 1000’s of us using the previous version who have spent 100’s of thousands on your products, kindly re-instante the version that actually matches our controller interface. The blatant thoughtlessness and disregard for the masses is staggering.
Not impressed with this at all!!
Update to 2019
Reading other peoples comments, looks like you may have released incorrectly? iPhone users are now seeing in landscape and iPad users are now seeing in portrait.
Sort it out please!
