Good app, the blocking feature is effective and I like the timer. NFC card is a smart addition so I will purchase one in the future when I save up enough money

Cute, haven’t had problems so far

I like the cute fish, I just feel the decorations are a tad expensive. Other than that I haven’t found a problem with it yet!

Thank you for your kind review. We understand that the decorations may be expensive, but on average it takes 1-2 weeks for corals, 2-3 weeks for items, and around 2 months for larger items. Our goal is for users to use phones less so we hope those months can go by faster without your phone. Follow this hint for a free gift: find the secret game controller buttons in the shop and click each one twice starting from the top!

Swim Away changed by phone habits

I've tried every blocker app (Opal, Jomo, ScreenZen, Brick) and they all eventually lose their effectiveness because I know the off switch is a few taps away or that I have to spend so much money to use their products.

When I saw Swim Away sold a physical NFC card that you can have to tap to unlock your apps without even opening the app, I knew I needed to have it.
Leaving the card at home or in my car before going to bed erased daily hours and minutes of scrolling. I've gotten my screen time down from 8 hours a day to around 2-3 just after a few weeks of using it.

I also love the app itself and its decorations. The pixel art fish, merging mechanics, and shared oceans are amazing features to track and share my progress. I genuinely feel excited and proud to unlock new fish. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to reduce screen time!!

A Really Good App!

I’ve been using the app and found that my screen time has been reduced due to my motivation of wanting to collect the different fish species. I love the art and it is a wonderful incorporation of motivation and healthier lifestyles!

I’ve been using this app for a bit now, and honestly it’s been pretty helpful for saving time in my day-to-day routine. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, which makes it quick to pick up without needing to spend time figuring things out. That alone makes a big difference because most productivity apps feel overcomplicated.
