Junk, don’t use
Tried to use this to set up a WhatsApp business account and it was a total nightmare. It would only connect intermittently, my account was locked for no reason, connection would drop out randomly etc. Customer service tried to help but slow and not worth the grief. Use a landline number instead, much easier.

Been solid for over 6 years
I have been using this app for just over 6 years and it has always worked, done exactly what it describes.
I ported my UK number to Swytch when I moved to the USA, and can still use it, everything has worked as expected.
I dont write many reviews but this deserves the 5 stars as I’ve had zero issues, and customer support was perfect when I had to update my info.

Works fine, but impossible to cancel your contract
There is nobody to contact for cancellations. They put you on a plan which you cannot get away from. I have had to contact my bank and put them on the transaction block list.
Also, the app works fine but not great. I often won’t get notifications for new messages and calls are clumsy.
I don’t recommend.

Excellent
Works perfectly; and I’ve been using this for almost two years now.
Excellent support in the few instances I’ve had issues when changing login credentials.
This has been a lifesaver in keeping a UK number for apps and services that require this for continued access while I can enjoy my expat life stress free.

New update has bricked the app
Very frustrating - new update has made the app very quirky and unreliable. Can’t even search for app on iphone any more. Staff were kind BUT received instructions that will take an hour or two to do to try making it work again. Really wish software testing before release would happen - rather than making the public do the software testing for free.

Unreliable
This app is useless, most calls either they can’t hear you or you can’t here them, I thought the upgrade would resolve this but actually it’s even worse I can’t even make calls or send a message now. The customer support is great but I’ve had enough of Swytch
No connection
Most of the time there is no connection and Massages are not coming through. Tried other apps and never had theses issues

Tried a number of other companies before starting with Swytch. It works really well almost all of the time. I was happy with the service and the customer service is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

Zero customer support, terrible security and unable to delete account. Seems like an actual scam
Tried it but unreliable
After a month of trying to cope and a £15 loss I am giving up on this one. Typical problems; can’t actually get the app to open and connect the call before the caller hangs up. No indication of missed calls. Callers unable to leave voice message. Not all of these issues happen all of the time but each one happens often enough as to make the app unusable. I wouldn’t even keep this if it was free and certainly not as a subscription

Reinstall everytime is used
It’s a great idea and what I need. However everytime I use it for online banking confirmation I have to delete the App and reinstall it. Not great obviously. The messages from the bank don’t appear unless it’s a fresh install. Pretty basic error to fix but still no fix.
The worst app
This is just the worst app you could use, useless phone number, you can’t call or text, the worst customer service, they don’t even reply.
Not happy!
Constantly missing phone calls as they don’t come through, customers message me and mmmm it shows in my notification bar but when I click the app the messages haven’t updated so I lose them!!!!!!!

oh gosh
there is so much promise and that I like about being able to separate out work calls and txts with Swytch, but the app just is just getting slower (to load or respond) and flakier on my phone (iphone SE 128GB, latest iOS) and may sadly have to move to a 2-sim solution.
Great company but no customer support reply
Been using Swytch for a good 12 months now for my business but have had a few billing issues and some security concerns and I’ve emailed and used customer service for Swytch several time but have had no reply. I’ve recommended Swytch to many of my clients too and again no customer service reply. Very close to having to cancel and use another provider. Disappointing and easily avoided by just replying to your customers

Temprimental & Clunky
Great bunch of people really happy and friendly supporting this but it’s not super reliable. Messages come through then disappear meaning you have to delete and reinstall the app. Don’t always get notifications, miss almost every call as doesn’t show incoming calls every time
