As Shutter Remote
When using the remote shutter, it meters using the phone‘s camera not the internal light meter of the Polaroid, which is a bit contra-intuitive because you will bring your phone with you to be included in the frame but the exposure isn’t accurate.

Simple but very effective
This app works with the corresponding PCB replacement for the SX70. Installing the new PCB is a bit technical, but if the provided instructions are followed, easy enough to do. The app is an excellent addition to the new PCB. It does exactly what you want without any ads or extras of any kind. You are able to control film type (600 or SX70) shutter speed, and it has a self timer as well. I own several SX70 cameras, refurbished, some from Mint, and some 600 converted. The camera I purchased from Mint requires an adapter that plugs into the flash socket to make the same changes that can be made through this app. There is also a controller that can be purchased for this PCB upgrade, but it’s not necessary. The app is perfect and works well in conjunction with the upgraded PCB in the camera. I personally use the camera upgraded with the SX70r board more than any other SX70 I own because it is incredibly versatile and easy to use. I highly recommend purchasing the board if your looking to upgrade your SX70 and breath new life into it. A++
