This app is truly the bane of my existence.
NFG POS
I haven’t met a single costumer that likes this app. How many complaints does it take, over how many years, to create a good, efficient, workable app?
HORRIBLE
With every update they do, the app gets worse and worse. It takes FOREVER to load and properly upload photos. It’s actually amazing how awful this app has become.
Garbage
The new all the trash. Never loads. Not intuitive. Useless. Literally never loads anything
Annoying as heck
This App already wasn’t the best and sync as a whole program has been so difficult to use but I’m using this platform to express just how incredibly INCREDIBLY annoying it is now with the multi factor ID. I need to look something up really quick on my laptop while I’m in the middle of a busy day? Not possible! Because not only does the site log you out every 2 minutes but now every time I log in I have to have my phone on me to also put a code in with yet another APP. This is not convenient or helpful and I beg to know if any users of this program are happy about this because I certainly am not.

Keeps getting worse
Every few months this app gets worse and barely works. They recently added MFA, so now there’s even more stuff you need to download just to use it. Not worth it. There are better alternatives out there.
Doesn’t Work With TMobile
SyncOnSet isn’t working with T-Mobile. This creates a lot of problems and setting back the work flow. What a mess. The over simplified app doesn’t allow for full usage that the website has so if you’re on location with bad signal - you're kind of screwed.
Effective! But still needs improvement
I’ve been using SyncOnSet for years in both app and desktop versions. It’s the industry leader but there are still several things I wish it could perform better on. For instance; on the app you can easily add tags for previously uploaded photos, nearly impossible on the desktop. I also wish there was a better, simpler way to view fitting info on my mobile device or label on actual photos for the establishing continuity photos. To be sure, I still love the product over any other on the market but it’s pretty buggy and glitchy which is frustrating when on set.

New EP version wouldn’t even begin to work. Crashed all day. It’s crap.
Terrible!
Seems to be the only program being widely used but there are better ones out there. Sync is awkward and difficult to use. Not intuitive at all and not a quick to find anything. I would not use ever if I had a choice. Real review; NO STARS!!
Horrible
This is my first time using this app and it’s horrible. Nothing works smoothly and I can’t find any good tutorials.
Who asked for this?!
New app is such a disappointment. Why “fix” something that isn’t broken? This one is so difficult to navigate, lost all the perks of the interface of the original app, & just takes extra time - when time is something we don’t have to waste in this industry! We hate hate HATE. Please bring the old app back. This makes you work harder, not smarter :(
Update: now the app moves even SLOWER. Rarely responds when you try to touch within the app to navigate between pages (oh so many pages to get to where you want to be - so counterintuitive), lags constantly, & can several minutes to even view photos already loaded in the app. This is whether on or off wifi. I never thought I would miss a continuity book so much.

EP took a great app and wrecked it
I loved the ease of use and ability to work with my team and departments to keep our continuity and character sheets accessible and organized. After EP bought the app it became completely useless. I’m very disappointed with the changes.
Worst continuity app ever!
So confusing, so difficult to upload preexisting photos. When just wanting to add photos to an episode you can’t; it has to be per scene. Way too complicated for makeup and hair artists like us to use. Clearly made by a non-artist. Do yourselves a favor and don’t use this for your production….
New update wayyyyyy worse
It’s almost impossible to use the app. I have to have my tablet for pictures and my computer to do basically every other action.

Old app was much better
If it ain’t broken don’t fix it!!!! The new app is so time consuming to use, not intuitive, too many steps to get to what took only one step before!. I have written to the company with several complains and I get a condescending answer saying I’ve built muscle memory!!! Look, I know how to learn new things but when you change a perfectly good app to one that is not user friendly, and from the reviews I am seeing I am not the only one, the problem is with the company.
The only good thing the new app has is when you add photos it takes you directly to the latest photos you took instead of having to go through all the albums.

Stupid
I hate this new app. Trying to figure this out while on set is a waste of my time and energy. Nothing wrong with the old one. The computer version made fine for people in the office but us out in the field using our phone don’t want this crap. Oh and they stopped answering emails about issues needing to be fixed. Way to go support team.
