What's New in SyncUp

1.3.0

September 15, 2026

Inviting people and picking dates just got a lot simpler. EVERYTHING ABOUT INVITES IN ONE PLACE Your trip's invite code now lives at the top of the Guests tab, right above your guest list. Copy it or share it straight to Messages without hunting around for it. CLEARER GUEST LIST Adding someone who hasn't joined yet is now called holding a spot, because that's what it does: it saves them a place in your headcount so it's accurate before everyone signs up. Add their email or phone and the saved spot merges into their account automatically when they join with your invite code. DATES UP FRONT Dates are now part of setting up a trip instead of a separate tab to find later. While creating a trip you can add date options to vote on and, if the group can't agree, ask everyone when they're free. Guests mark their free days under Votes and SyncUp finds the stretch that works for the most people. ACTIVITY IDEAS A new shared board sits between Group Packing and the Grocery List where anyone on the trip can suggest stuff to do. Add details like price, booking links, or where to meet, and the whole group sees them. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Fixed profile photos showing an error after they had already saved - Fixed a crash on launch affecting some devices - Various fixes and polish throughout

FAQ

How does SyncUp handle group RSVPs and availability?

Can I manage shared lists like packing or groceries with SyncUp?

Yes, SyncUp allows for shared and synced packing and grocery lists. This prevents duplication of items like sunscreen or forgotten essentials like s'mores ingredients, and you can also add personal packing lists with reminders.

How does SyncUp assist with expense splitting after the trip?

Guests can submit their expenses within the app, and the host can approve them. At the end of the trip, everyone can see exactly who owes what, with built-in reminders to settle balances.
