Can’t use in AUM
I have SynthMaster 1, 2 and SynthMaster 3 player.. they all sound great and are fabulous synths, but only SynthMaster 1 works in AUM, why is that. AUM is one of my primary work environments and is really frustrating to not be able to use the newer versions a particular synth in an environment that worked on the first version. Did you piss off the AUM folks and they won’t let you in anymore?

Best synth on iPad
Simply the best synth I own on iOS, I own a bunch korg, Zenbeats and a whole lot of iOS synths but this one brings the closest desktop sound to my ear and I am all smiles, thank you! Btw grab the desktop presets too, you won’t regret, this is a keeper! :)
Toller Synth mit komplexen Möglichkeiten und super Sound(s)
Viele abwechslungsreiche und gute Presets als Ausgangspunkt. Wenn man möchte, kann man sehr in die Tiefen des Sounddesigns einsteigen mit diesem Synth. Sehr gut die Möglichkeit, dass man nach Registrierung sogar seine bereits für die Mac/PC-Version gekauften Soundsets auch für die iOS-Version herunterladen und nutzen kann ohne weitere Kosten - ganz komfortabel vom Browser aus. Eigene Sounds lassen sich ebenfalls synchronisieren. Das erleichtert es doch enorm, zwischen mobil und Desktop zu arbeiten. Freue mich, dieses nette Plugin auch mobil dabei haben zu können!

Auswahl der Modulationsquellen funktioniert nicht richtig
Eigentlich ein toller Synth aber die Auswahl der Modulationsquellen oder auch Ziele in der Modmatrix funktioniert bei mir (11Zoll iPad Pro 3.Generation) nicht richtig: Es wird ein anderer Parameter ausgewählt als angewählt wurde. Die macht eigene Soundprogrammierung leider fast unmöglich, der Fehler besteht seit einigen Jahren… da ist dann geschenkt fast zu teuer..

Echt schlecht
Der Synth macht gute Sounds, aber die Modulations-Zuweisung ist echt großer Müll und fummelig. Einfach nicht bis zum Ende gut durchdacht. Ich bin es einfach leid mit diesen iOS Apps. Wer meint, dieser Synth wäre gut, der hat sich auch nur durch die Presets blenden lassen.
Broken Preset System for a powerful synth
Firstly this a super powerful and awesome synth.
The way presets are saved along with info is broken. You can try save a preset after adding your Author and Bank name into the Info panel but the information upon double checking is gone. Even deleting presets from the save panel does not work. Half time info is saved and the other half of the time this essential process is corrupt.
I know what I’m doing, but the app is very buggy in this regard.
A shame really since this lets down a solid and essential synth .
I hear the plan is to eventually release SM3 on iOS and the presets from SM2 should be able to load into SM3. But sadly the presets system in SM2 has not been fixed and still corrupt after several years. The last update 5 months ago did nothing to fix the issues.
Please fix asap Bulent. I know you are busy ironing out any issues with SM3 on desktop, but SM2 really needs a stable preset saving/deleting/info naming fix.

Pitch bend my samples that i imported from my files and they wont glide. The lead,808,synths will not glide.

Please fix the OSC behavior on Square and Saw
on the basic set of oscilators the tone is different when switching from square to saw to pulse, when going back to saw the waveform and tone is different for saw, please fix it :( this is almost a perfect synth for ipad and desktop workflow except for this issue
Preset issues
Experiencing stuck "presets" with Synthmaster. I'll be scrolling through ones made, or the full bundle, and the screen will flash off momentarily and it will go back to the first preset I started browsing with. This is in Loopy, Drambo, AUM Etc. Dropped quite a bit for the bundle and because of the issue quit using the app

Synthmaster 2 still one of the best on iOS
Thank you KVR331 team, the preset selection is now back to its normal fast response.

The latest iOS18 update has rendered this app unusable if you want to use MIDI Program Change or just manual selection…..be prepared to wait up to 1 minute for the change to happen!
No response from the KVR331 support even after numerous bug reports and forum requests to fix this issue.

Preset management is a buggy nightmare
The synth parts of this app are great and lots of fun. Would give that 5 stars, but when you start trying to save and manage your own presets the nightmare begins. The browser is horribly confusing and buggy when it comes to user presets. So many weird glitchy behaviors. There seems to be a fundamental very basic bug with how banks are associated with patches. The patches sort by name but don’t always reflect that. The lists have weird selection bugs where sometime multiple things show as selected and you can’t unselect. Hard to figure out how to delete an old version of a preset. When you do finally discover the delete option it seems like it can only delete entire banks? Also deleting a preset seems to delete all copies of it? Moving presets between banks is way harder than it should be. The UI lets you select and drag presets around. Great! But dropping them into different preset banks does nothing. Very frustrating to have hours of work on a preset ruined by weird deletion, sorting, and bank management behavior.

Great sounding IOS synth, but…
It’s a great sounding synth, but it’s totally broken when it comes to round-trip functionality in Logic between iOS and Mac. So uninstalled…

Fantastique synthétiseur qui nous rapproche au plus près des meilleurs synthétiseurs hardware… malheureusement beaucoup de musiciens n’ont pas compris cela encore . SynthMaster 2 est un must have tant les sons sont super et les possibilités de création sonore sont infinies … sans parler du prix dérisoire même avec l’achat de toutes les banques de son supplémentaires ça reste largement peu cher … voilà vous savez ce qu’il vous reste à faire

Synthmaster 2 for ipad is so expansive, I haven’t even had a chance to check it all out yet. Everything I have done, so far, has sounded great and was exactly what I was looking for from Synthmaster. I’m going to be tweaking knobs and sounds for awhile with this app. Synthmaster 2 is great! - Grey F♾️l
