So yes everything is wired apart from the control element. But complete reliability once installed with a good router. This system is designed for lovers of music, not lovers of Spotify. If you want a decent music system that allows customisation and control then look no further. Make sure you use Deezer, Stored music or Qobuz for the best user experience.

Upgraded to a fully wired installed Systemline 7 setup from Sonos. Not looking back. I love the organisation and access to my music library. All good.

An update
This app has generally been great (a few minor criticisms, such as some things not intuitive and can’t seem to play Virgin radio through it!) but recently Deezer stopped working through the app and it no longer seemed to recognise my Deezer account. I’ve now had some fantastic technical support (thank you) and it appears that this was due to a Deezer outage affecting some s7 netservers that wasn’t communicated to Systemline users/support. They’ve now worked out a solution and updated my system remotely so I’m back up and running!

App issues since connecting to Spotify
Speaker quality is good when playing music via the radio however the app is very glitchy and not particularly intuitive. Since syncing with Spotify, the app has become frozen on the zone view and I can’t get Spotify to play through to any of the rooms. No troubleshooting advice to be found anywhere online. I can’t even find away to disconnect Spotify in the app so now stuck with a sound system that doesn’t work.... Initial impressions not great at all. Please improve this app!!!
