Has Shortcomings
T1D1 does a fine job estimating the amount of insulin you need (based on doctor recommended parameters) but it lacks the ability to estimate the amount of active insulin in your system which is a HUGE shortcoming. Without that you run the of overdosing yourself with insulin. If they add this feature it would be a much better (and safer) App.

Very Helpful App
Some kindhearted people with greats hearts are behind this app. This app has helped streamline so many aspects of being new to T1D for my son and me. And any questions I had were answered promptly, as well as any suggestions I had were met with openness to make changes that benefit us all.

Wonderful app
App was recommended to me by diabetic educator. I find it very helpful to calculate my bolus injections. Two simple inputs for each calculation give me an accurate dose. I would note that it’s important to go into the settings and set your desired target glucose, correction factor, and carb ratio.

The BEST Diabetes App for Type 1
My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 12yrs old. It was a life changing event for not just him but our family. His endo recommended this app to us to make the whole process a bit easier. The fact that the creator of the app also lives in MD made us curious. From Day 1 we were a fan. It keeps logs for us so that I can check to make sure my son is utilizing the app. As long as you know how to use the app, it is the best thing ever! As a parent, this is such a lifesaver for me and my family. 1000% recommend this! And thank you, T1D1!

So easy to use and accurate
Pump to Pens
Sometimes I take a break from using my insulin pump - this application bridges the gap between using pens and administering correct/appropriate doses! It’s really too easy
Great App and very useful
As an adult who has been pumping for years, I worry about being hospitalized and not able to use my Omnipod. This app would be great for hospital staff or caregivers, that may not know how to calculate insulin for the individual. Be sure all numbers are correct especially correction factors. I hope it takes insulin onboard as people use it. Great idea.

Finally an app to help calculate insulin! As a parent, I can share this account with my family. And, best part is that I can easily send to our doctor so she can help us adjust our numbers as needed. Thank you for doing the legwork to get this app out there!
So easy and useful
Love this app. Takes all the guesswork out of calculating insulin. Highly recommend especially if you’re newly diagnosed.

I’ve had type 1 diabetes for 16 years. I use this app when I take a break from my pump. So much easier than doing my own calculations. Wish this was out when I was first diagnosed. It’s a lifesaver. I highly recommend it.

Garbage App
Absolutely garbage app. Been a type 1 diabetic for 35 years strong now. During the set-up of the App, I answered the trigger questions properly. The end result is a “T1D1 may not be a good fit for you.” To add insult to injury, the reasons why it told me I was not a fit; The same answers I provided which would make me a fit.
Sugarmate is a better app, and I suggest Diabetics use that one.
