I booked a restaurant 2 days ago but it told me the reservation was cancelled. Therefore I didn’t go there but 2 days later it suddenly charged me 10000yen? It is a fraudulent app

예약금 선결제
텅 비어져 있는 식당 예약하면서 인당 440엔 예약금을 받네요. 약관 미리 꼼꼼히 안 본 실수이지만 구글별점 갖고 예약하는 건 무리가 있는 것 같아요.
이걸로 하면 굳이 안내도되는 돈을 내야됨
아니 당연히 다른 예약어플에서는 디파짓 돌려주길래 그런건줄알았는데 시스템이용료 뭐임 그지같은 번역 이거 해줬다고 받는거임? 일본어로 하면 안받는걸? 이걸로 예약하지마시길..쌩돈나감

Difficult to navigate and annoying how you have to resubmit things when you go back a page.

This app is pretty much required to make reservations in restaurants. Unfortunately the UX of the app is horrible. Developers should really invest into improving this app’s design and usability.

40 restaurant limitation
The fact that you can only save 40 restaurants for an app that’s supposed to help you look and save the restaurants is silly. The American app, such as Yelp, does not have a limitation like that.
Also, please enable the setting to be able to change the language to view the app in Japanese for the Japanese users living abroad, as there isn’t a way to download the Japanese Tabēlog app.

Good but very expensive
Really good, but i suggest not to book tables via this app, its quite expensive.
You have to pay for using the app
If you didn’t know, this is not free for English speaking tourists. 400-880 yen fee just for using the app. This is charged each time you book something. Japanese version of this doesn’t have the fee.
High fees
Avoid Tabelog if you can. An $8 fee just to book a reservation is pretty ridiculous. Resy? Free. Open Table? Free. Bad model, call direct when you can.

You need to pay for a reservation in a mediocre restaurant!?!

예약비 비쌈 굳이 안써도 되는 가게 많은데 음식가격 상관없이 인당 4천원꼴로 예약비받음 주문하고 실제 매장가면 메뉴 없느 경우도 있음 딴 어플 쓰셈 꼭 가야하고 진짜 사람 많은 집아니면
Tech issues lost reservation
I was getting kicked out multiple times when trying to reserve my table, even after entering my credit card details. After 7 times, I ended up losing my needed dinner time.
