Tabiroku

Travel memories usually get buried in your camera roll. Tabiroku is an app where you just pick your trip photos. It reads each photo’s date and place, then lines them up as a record of that day and that spot. You only write a note if you want. You never have to type the date or the place. Each trip gets its own map. Pins mark where you went, connected in the order you visited. Look back later and you can see how you walked that trip at a glance. And every trip collects onto one footprint map. The more you record, the more pins appear—and how far you’ve been stays on the map. What you can do • Record spots just by picking photos (up to 30 at a time) • Date and place are read automatically from the photos • Search for a place by name, or remove it by hand • Keep records without photos (a note or a place alone is fine) • A trip timeline grouped by date • Per-trip maps and route lines • A footprint map of every trip • Trip stats (number of trips, days traveled, spots, regions visited) • Wrap up a trip with a summary card you can share • Light / Dark mode and 9 languages No permissions asked Only the photos you pick are passed in. Tabiroku does not ask for access to your whole photo library, and it does not ask for location permission. There is no account and no sign-in. On this device only Trip records, photos, and notes all stay on this device, and your photos themselves are never uploaded. To turn a coordinate into a place name, only the coordinate stored in the photo and the words you type into place search are sent to Apple's map services. Beyond that, the network is used to show ads and to send anonymous usage and crash data for quality improvement. Add that day’s spots in a spare moment while traveling, or pick a batch from your camera roll after you’re home—either way, it takes just a moment.
