Tably is best suited for North American and European adult cat breeds, but we have exciting plans for the future of the app including more diverse results. The Tably app has a >90% precision in identifying discomfort/stress/pain in cats using validated facial pain scales used by veterinarians. Good idea but it doesn’t work
When my cat sleeps the app tells me he is annoyed or having a bad day. When he’s awake it says he’s fine. I took a video of him in the same positions and one time it said bad day the next, with no changes, it told me good day.
It seems very random and unreliable. Please don’t take advantage of people who want to do right by their pets. That is an awful thing to do.

We have exciting plans for the future of the app including more diverse results and making it even more fun and interactive. The goal of Tably is to create a connection with cat owners and their pets to signal if the cat may be experiencing discomfort or stress and hiding it, as cats do so well. With regular use (and now with our highly requested calendar feature), cat owners can recognize patterns of good days/bad days that may be helpful to make adjustments for them and useful for veterinarians to assist with health checkups. We appreciate this feedback! And we totally understand, we have more robust plans for the app in future releases and are working hard to create an end to end experience in partnership with potential vet-service providers to make it more accessible to check in with a Veterinarian. Tably now has a calendar so you can more easily track your cats' days over time, providing you and vets with more information as to possible patterns. As we have since the start of Tably, we are building the app in consultation with Veterinarians and using cutting edge AI and continuing to improve the helpfulness of the app - thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
