Amazing!!

Sucks

The $1 beer is actually $1.97, tried it once tab wouldn’t close out, the AI couldn’t help. Nobody responded to my messages trying to get the tab closed. Not worth the trouble do a $1.97 beer….

I recommend the TabX app

TabX makes opening and closing a tab fast and frictionless. Service moves quicker, staff stay focused, and payment is securely handled from the start. It’s also a smart way to gift a drink or dinner remotely—simple, efficient, and seamless for both the guest and the venue.

New App

Love how easy it is for me to get drink specials at bars in Bend. This app is sick

So convenient

I really love this app. I use it all the time to bar hop in my hometown (super great way to close out in busy bars). I can even save money on certain drinks that I order & tip well when I’m ready to close out.

Not ready for a large crowd at one place

Couple hundred people gathered at a bar to watch a football game, and the app crashed and couldn’t handle the volume. The app was unable to locate the bar or search for it. Not impressed AT ALL.

Poorly designed app

App doesn’t let you order using the app and charges you a $1 every transaction to use it.

I downloaded it and tried to use it at a bar. The bartender didn’t know how to use it, so I paid with my card and didn’t use the app. Despite not using the app, it charged me a $2 fee for having a tab (not sure why it double charged me) and tipped 20% automatically.

Waste of money and time.

Response from developer

Hi Chandler. TabX doesn’t allow ordering because we’re designed for high volume bars and concert venues where ordering through an app would be a nightmare and cause more problems than it solves. We simply let people open and close their tabs from their phones instead of standing in line for 5 to 20 minutes to close out. We think $0.97 for 5 minutes or more of your time is fair. Also, as more people adopt TabX, instead of waiting for bartenders to run someone else’s card before taking your order, you’ll be able to get served quicker. We hate you had a bad experience. Can you email us at support@tabxapp.com and let us know where this happened? We’ll make sure to do another staff training there. Knowing all this will you give TabX one more shot and let us know if it’s a better experience.

Kept getting an error

I tried to close my tab several times last night and every time it gave me an error. Then I went up to the bar to just close it normally and the staff said since I opened it in the app I couldn’t close it outside the app, I had to use the app. So I tried again and again. I used 3 different cards to try and it still didn’t work. Never could get it to work. I guess the staff ended up figuring a way to close it but super annoying.

TabX

I love using TabX. When my friends are leaving the bar I don’t have to worry about having to stand in line and meeting up with them later. I can just close it from my phone and go. It’s the best.

Awesome!

This app is great! I open my tab from home and my tab is open at the bar when I get their. After partying all night I go home and close my my tab. If I forget, the bar closes me automatically. Couldn’t be better!

Come on mane

I can’t close the tab from my house? This was the whole point.

Response from developer

You can close from anywhere with an internet connection. Some point of sale systems don’t allow us to close if it’s a zero dollar tab due to anti theft policies and must be done by staff.

Attempted communication.

I attempted to email via the button in the app but it wouldn’t work. I opened a tab last night on the way to my favorite bar and it gave an error message. I tried again and it worked but there were two tabs open by then. I closed my tab out like normal but there is still a blank open tab on my side. I would like to close this.

Yes, please!

I leave, A LOT, without closing my tab and tab x closes me out automatically. I don’t have to worry about what # drink my friends/co-workers are on because I can leave when they leave and close out on my phone. I’ve left my wallet at home before, BUT, my card info is saved into TabX and I can go out after work without my card. It’s just a necessity. No bugs, no kinks.. I love it. I use it weekly.

So Safe and Super Convenient

There is so much less interaction with bartenders who serve so many and makes me feel safer. Check out is a breeze and everyone is surprised when I leave with no need to wait in line.

LOVE TABX

TabX makes viewing & paying your bill so much easier. We love it!

Got screwed

Had to pay my tab twice

Response from developer

We had our first outage which was unexpected and fixed it immediately. Your tab must’ve been during this brief amount of time. Please contact us at support@tabxapp.com and we will reimburse you. We want to make this right and hope you give us another shot.

Love this App

I use this all the time and I think the fee is very reasonable considering the convenience factor.
This would be great to use at concerts, ballparks, etc. - so much potential.

Great. But be aware of the transaction fee.

Downloaded and used this app while at el barrio last night. It’s easy to set up and seems to be bug free so far. We all know that opening/closing a tab at a busy restaurant/bar can be a bit of a kerfluffle at times, and the convenience of being able to open/close a tab on your own tab is an exciting concept—this app delivers that! I do think they could be more transparent about the fee to use the app. While it is listed in their terms, I was not aware until I noticed the additional charge on my bill when closing out. All in all, it’s a great app to use in a busy bar setting, but the fees can add up quickly if used for every transaction.
