Garbage
Nonstop crashes and Tactacam knows they just refuse to fix it or they’re too dumb to know how to fix it. EVERY single app they have it junk!
Never connects, the app is useless
Very unfortunate tactacam hasn’t put any time into their apps. Their cameras are excellent, but if you can’t view what you’re shooting on the app so that you can adjust the camera. It’s a crapshoot on what you’re capturing. Had the same problem years ago with the regular tact, cam app and fishi app is no better

i took this out turkey hunting and shot a turkey and i went in the house to watch it and it wouldn’t play or show a preview of it
Not Fully Working With Solo Extreme
this needs updates I left all the details on the new app. the last update is 2yrs here. and 7months in the new one. updates please!
Tactacam 4.0 Locked Up While Using The App!
While using the app my Tactacam 4.0 locked up. I couldn’t get it to respond. Now it won’t turn on. Wish I would have never downloaded this app!
Full of Problems
For the most part you will see that the 5 star ratings far out number all others. But if you look closer, most ratings rated “5” were made 4 years ago. Ratings made after that period drop off dramatically to a poor rating. Apparently something changed for the worse, and support does not seem to have any answers. I will agree that the video quality of the camera by itself is great. But if you think you will be able to sit in a blind and watch your deer on your iPad, good luck with that. This includes both the Tactacam Wi-Fi and Connect apps. For both android and apple software versions. Crashes, freeze ups, and settings that don’t work. I spent hours reloading software, upgrading firmware, you name it. No change. Support will only give vague, canned replies. I even went and bought a $300 iPad because the software on my android Samsung phone kept crashing. They have a great idea here, but they need to literally get with the “program” and fix the problems.

App doesn’t work
I’ve downloaded the app for tactacam solo and it won’t even bring up the screen and always kicks me off of WiFi. I paid good money for this thing and can’t even use it.
Easy to use, great picture. iPhone 12 Pro
Resolution is great, lighting great, great product. Weird that it vibrates but overall great. I’d recommend this product. Make sure you log into the Wifi settings (not Bluetooth) on a device to connect through this app. Best of luck!
Refuses to work
iOS 15. Useless app. Keeps saying no internet connection with phone on top of cam, 4 feet from cam or yards away while phone is enjoying great connectivity to everything else in the world.
No help available except for the same generic instructions on their site.
Will not show live or any vids/photos. The fish-I app is inoperable as well.

Meh!
Love camera ability BUT, accessing video has been a ‘no-go’ for all 24 cameras. CS has been lax at responding.
Solo WiFi
Does not work with the solo WiFi model, it will pick up the WiFi but will not show video on my phone at all..🤦🏻♂️
No value added
After playing around with the controls for hours. I finally gave up. Not user friendly that’s for sure. Never could get the camera to connect to my network. So needless to say, I could never even see a live picture on my phone. Where I hunt there is no wireless network. Having a smartphone on a tripod will get the same results. I’ll be taking this back tomorrow!

Needs improvement
This app is super clunky it causes my tactic him to freeze and the connection is super delayed from where you’re pointing the camera and what showing on the screen
Connection problems 4.0
Using the app with an IPhone is incredibly frustrating. Constantly crashing and failing to connect to camera. The wifi connection is on and connected to the IP address, but the app will not connect camera or fails when trying to watch videos or delete them. It is disappointing for the price you pay that this feature is unreliable. Update is needed to address these issues.

Needs update!
The app is pretty outdated. Doesn’t fit your phone screen, and it freezes a lot. Does the job with being able to see what your camera sees, but it usually takes me a couple tries with closing the app and re opening it. Could get pretty annoying while hunting. Love the camera, the app needs some improvements and updates. Thanks

So easy to use
Tactacam trail cams came out last year, I had three in the woods and the ability to control settings, review photos and adjust the quality and amount of photos is as simple as selecting and saving. Not only monitoring for game but also those folks who like to “wander” past posted areas. Great app to compliment the camera !!

Bought a Tactacam and have nothing but problems. Won’t connect to 4 different devices that I’ve tried and when it does it won’t record. It has been nothing but a problem and I wish I never wasted my money

App won’t ever connect and camera needs to be pointing directly to light to get anything but black screen. Waste of money.
V2.1.1 does not connect with iOS 13.6.1
V2.1.1 does not allow a new camera to be added to the app using iOS 13.6.1. WiFi connection is valid and stable. As this app version is right now, it is completely useless for use with a Tactacam.
