Welcome back – Tactrix has been massively overhauled. A lot has changed since the last update. Here's everything waiting for you: GUIDED TUTORIAL FOR NEW PLAYERS On first launch, new players choose between a full interactive tutorial or jumping straight in. The tutorial walks you through row and column clears step by step – with coach cards and target outlines on the board. Can be replayed anytime from Settings. INTRO VIDEO ON LAUNCH A full-screen brand animation greets you when you first open the app, setting the tone for the experience ahead. RUN-LEVEL SYSTEM Tactrix now features real in-run progression. Every line you clear advances you through level milestones (10, 30, 60+ lines). Each level brings animated callouts, a growing score bonus, and a shifting arena – new gradient accents and color themes reflect how far you've come. TIERED CLEAR CELEBRATIONS Single, Double, Triple, and the legendary Quad-Clear – each clear type now has its own escalating celebration with stronger colors, bigger particle effects, and matching audio. The difference between a routine clear and a Quad is something you'll actually feel. IMPROVED DRAG-AND-DROP Piece anchoring during the preview is significantly more precise. Color-coded feedback (green = valid, red = invalid) and pulsing column and row highlights show you exactly what will happen the moment you release a piece. GAME-OVER HOLD PHASE After your final move, Tactrix pauses for a moment – 5 seconds of visibility so you can take in your completed board before the results screen appears. DAILY & WEEKLY MISSIONS A full mission system with XP rewards keeps you engaged with fresh daily and weekly goals. XP progress, player levels, and unlock milestones are saved persistently across sessions. COMBO TIER SYSTEM Streaks are now recognized and ranked: Rising, Hot, Wild, and Legendary. Each tier unlocks stronger visual and haptic effects while pushing your multiplier step by step toward 3×. STABILITY & PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS Numerous bug fixes and under-the-hood optimizations deliver a smoother experience across all supported devices.
