A task is just a title and a few tags — #work, #urgent, #waiting, #p1, @home, or a person's name. A task can belong to many contexts at once, so you never have to choose the "one right place" for it. You organize by **querying** the set of tasks with a tiny but powerful set-algebra language: • #today & #open — what's due today and not done • #work & #open & ~#waiting — open work you're not blocked on • (#work | #personal) & #week — this week, across contexts • #p1 & #overdue — high-priority tasks past due • #done & #week — a weekly review of what you finished Operators are simple: & (and), | (or), \ (except), ~ (not), and parentheses. Two tags side by side also mean "and". Save any query as a smart list and see its live count update as you work. AUTOMATIC TAGS Some tags are added for you and usable in any query — no typing required: #open, #done, #overdue, #today, #tomorrow, #week, #nodate, #all, plus time tags from each task's date (#2026, #JUN, #Q2, #FRIDAY, #WEEKEND, #SUMMER…). SEE THE STRUCTURE OF YOUR WORK Every query result comes with a summary (total / open / done / completion % / overdue), an area-proportional Venn diagram of its most common tags, and charts for throughput, created-vs-completed, and your open backlog over time.
