About

Make NFC tags useful with Tagwisp, a native toolkit for iPhone. Read compatible tags, create your own messages, and keep the records you need in a private local library. EVERYDAY NFC TOOLS, INCLUDED FREE • Read NDEF records and inspect tag technology, identifier, capacity and write status. • Create text, website, phone, email, SMS, contact, Wi-Fi, location and Shortcuts records. • Build ordered messages with multiple records, including custom URI, MIME and external records. • View and edit original type, identifier and payload bytes. Preserve unfamiliar records when copying. • Check actual tag capacity before writing and read the records back to verify the result. • Compare a tag with your current message, reuse messages and manage writable tags with clear confirmations. • Save history and templates, add notes and favorites, search your library and resume saved drafts. • Share values and QR codes when you choose. • Choose NFC tags for your task, encoded message size, mounting surface and preferred shape. Compare NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 options before buying. GO FURTHER WITH TAGWISP PRO One permanent in-app purchase adds advanced tools. No subscription. • Inspect text and binary data with on-device decoders, including Base64, hex, JSON, CBOR, MessagePack, BER-TLV, NDEF and more. • Use compatible protocol memory and command tools, NTAG configuration and configurable tag discovery. • Work with CSV batches and import or export NDEF and Tagwisp JSON files. • Organize saved tags into collections and locations with optional photos. • Compare saved scans, audit inventory, define custom data formats and create parameterized command workflows. • Verify supported signatures with keys you supply locally. • Read supported protected travel documents using the access information printed on your document. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Tag records stay on your iPhone. No account, tracking or analytics is required. Opening the tag buying guide checks a small product catalog at tagwisp.app; no tag contents or library data are sent. Hosting providers receive ordinary connection metadata for delivery and security. You control exports and sharing. Device backups and services you choose for sharing are managed separately. Apple processes the optional Pro purchase. REQUIREMENTS AND COMPATIBILITY Requires iOS 26 or later and a compatible NFC-enabled iPhone. Physical NFC actions require supported tags; capabilities vary by chip, format, permissions and document. Tagwisp does not bypass access protections, duplicate protected access cards or offer unrestricted card emulation. Payment-tag sessions, host card emulation and Secure Element credential tools are not included in this release. Permanent tag locking cannot be undone. What's New in Tagwisp

1.1.0

October 28, 2026

Choose the right NFC tags for what you want to do. • New task-based chooser recommends tags for websites, text, contacts, Wi-Fi, labels, automations and multi-record messages. • Find tag suggestions directly from Read, Write and Tools. Write recommends a chip family using your message’s actual encoded size. • Recommendations account for mounting surface and preferred tag shape. • Expanded guidance covers NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 stickers, cards, key fobs and on-metal tags. • Improved layouts, including wide-screen reading and a smoother Write screen. • Fixed Text quick-add opening the wrong editor. • Rounded and tightened the Restore purchases and offer-code controls while keeping comfortable tap targets. • Improved optional NTAG counter handling and clarified partial-read messages. Everyday NFC tools remain free. Tagwisp Pro is still one permanent purchase, with no subscription.
