Another Terrible Language App

Response from developer
Thanks for giving Takallam a try, and I'm sorry the price didn't feel worth it to you. Regarding the chat gpt chatbot can answer questions, but it won't give you a structured path from your very first word to real conversations - sequenced lessons, pronunciation feedback that actually listens and corrects you, spaced repetition so what you learn sticks, and content built by people who know how Arabic is taught. Knowing what to learn next, and being walked through it step by step, is the part that's genuinely hard to do on your own. We're a small team pouring everything into building that properly, and the subscription is simply what lets us keep improving it and support the people behind it. That said, feedback on pricing is genuinely valuable, and we're always working to make Takallam worth every cent. If you'd ever like to give it another look, reach out at support@takallamai.com and I'll personally help you get more out of it. Either way, I hope you keep going with your Arabic. 🌙 Livan, Founder

Amazing
Genuinely Best language app
Amazing
Weak Hadith
Why do you include a weak hadith on your app’s screen? Also, if your app is intended for Muslims, please write “ﷺ” (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) after mentioning the Prophet Muhammad. Please be careful not to confuse Muslims by presenting weak narrations without clarification.
Response from developer
JazakAllahu khayran for your care for accuracy. You're right about the concerns with the Hadith hadith - it was only on the loading screen, but presenting a narration many scholars grade as weak, without clarification, isn't something we want to do, so we've removed it. BarakAllahu feek for flagging it. On the ﷺ — just to gently reassure you, we do include "ﷺ" after the Prophet's name ﷺ; it appears alongside the hadith in the app, and we'll make sure it stays consistent throughout. We're a small team building this to help the ummah connect with the language of the Qur'an. If the app itself has been beneficial to you, we'd be grateful if you'd consider reflecting that in your review - but either way, thank you for helping us make it better.

Salam Issadagoat, jazak Allah khair for the honest feedback — this is exactly the kind of report that helps us improve. Both issues you flagged (completed tasks not marking as done, and answer buttons overlapping the check button) have been on our radar, and we've shipped fixes in the latest update. If you get a chance to update and try it again, we'd love to know if it feels smoother on your end. And if anything else gets in the way, please email us at support@takallam.ai We'd love for you to reconsider the review rating upon updating the app :)
