Genuinely Best language app

I’ve used this for a couple weeks now and I’ve seen my Arabic just sky rocket. It’s amazing and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I really hope they do it for more languages. The AI is a game changer

Amazing

Well worth it

Weak Hadith

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is reported to have said: “Love the Arabs for three reasons: because I am an Arab, the Qur’an was revealed in Arabic, and the language of the people of Paradise is Arabic.” However, this hadith is considered weak by many scholars.

Why do you include a weak hadith on your app’s screen? Also, if your app is intended for Muslims, please write “ﷺ” (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) after mentioning the Prophet Muhammad. Please be careful not to confuse Muslims by presenting weak narrations without clarification.

Its paid

I thought it wasn’t paid, it would be more better if its totally free for the people who really want to learn arabic

Very buggy

I got the app two days ago, signed up for the free trial and completed the assessment of my level. The next day I logged in and everything was locked. I tried logging in and out which then deleted all my progress. Did the assessment again this morning and then got 4 screen with an error message. I now am unable to proceed. Very frustrating experience.

Favorite learning app

I can finally understand what I'm saying in Salah. I've tried so many apps, but Takallam is the only one that actually clicked for me.

No need for live tutor!

I've finally found an app that actually eliminates the need for a live tutor! I love the variety of learning activities and especially the AI conversations. I hope it expands to other languages honestly.

Glitches

Completed tasks do not show up as completed. Answers of questions get in the way of the check button. Otherwise good app.

Response from developer

Salam Issadagoat, jazak Allah khair for the honest feedback — this is exactly the kind of report that helps us improve. Both issues you flagged (completed tasks not marking as done, and answer buttons overlapping the check button) have been on our radar, and we've shipped fixes in the latest update. If you get a chance to update and try it again, we'd love to know if it feels smoother on your end. And if anything else gets in the way, please email us at support@takallam.ai We'd love for you to reconsider the review rating upon updating the app :)

The App is brilliant!

It's a really good app for who wants to learn Arabic and beginner friendly as well.

Response from developer

Jazak Allah khair, Ahnafx10! Making Arabic feel approachable for beginners is exactly what we set out to do, so this means a lot. If you ever hit a moment where something could be clearer or you want to see a new feature, drop us a line at support@takallam.ai; we'd love to hear from you.

Jesus

I need to be honest.

I hate learning Arabic.

Not in a dramatic poetic way.
In a very real, very stubborn, “my brain immediately wants snacks instead” kind of way.

Every time I try, one of three things happens:

1. I suddenly remember I should reorganize my entire life.
2. I decide sleep is actually very important for my future.
3. My ADHD says, “What if instead… we simply ✨don’t✨?”

So my expectations for this app were… low.
Like “I’ll open it for 30 seconds, feel guilty, and close it” low.

I opened it while getting into bed.
You know… the classic ‘just checking’ lie we all tell ourselves.

Anyway.

Next thing I know…
it’s midnight.
I finished a full lesson.
And I’m sitting there confused like:

“Why am I… enjoying this??
Who approved this??
Is this legal???”

Because normally learning Arabic for me feels like: My brain buffering …

But this app???

Everything is clear, simple, and somehow… my brain didn’t run away.
Which, if you have ADHD, you know is basically a medical miracle.

Like…
where was the suffering?
the dramatic sighing?
the sudden desire to start a completely different life path instead of studying?

Gone.

Instead I was just… learning.
Calmly.
At midnight.
On purpose.

Very suspicious behavior from me.

I kept waiting for the moment my brain would say
“okay that’s enough productivity for today, let’s scroll nonsense now.”

But it never came.

Whoever designed this app clearly understands two types of people:

1. People who hate studying
2. People whose attention span is held together by vibes and dua

And somehow… they built something that works for both.

So yeah.

Do I still hate learning Arabic in general?
Emotionally… yes.

But do I hate this app?

…unfortunately no.
And that feels like personal growth, which I did NOT sign up for.

10/10.
Very rude of them to make learning this easy.
Now I might actually have to become disciplined or something.
