About

Take Cover Storm Shelter helps you find safe shelter fast when severe weather threatens. When a storm is bearing down, every second matters, and you don't want to be searching far from home. That's why Take Cover focuses on shelters within a three mile radius, so you're never sent dangerously far while a storm moves toward you. Open the app and instantly see the shelters nearest you on a clear, map-based view. Take Cover shows you the difference between public, private, and community shelters at a glance, so you always know your options and what to expect when you arrive. Every shelter listing gives you the details that matter most in an emergency. See the size of the shelter and its capacity, whether it holds four people, thirty people, or more. Best of all, shelter owners can update how many people are currently inside in real time, so if a shelter is full, you'll know before you head out. No wasted trips, no dangerous surprises. Private shelters are clearly marked as private, so you won't go barging into someone's backyard shelter uninvited. Owners who choose to list a small private shelter can make it available for others when they're out of town, giving your community another layer of safety. Tap any shelter to see its full details, including exact coordinates, address, and a photo so you can recognise it quickly. You'll also find the owner's name and contact information, and you can call or text them directly through the app. It passes straight through to your phone, so calling and texting works instantly with no extra steps. Take Cover puts safety, speed, and community first. Whether you're at home or away, you'll always know where to go when severe weather strikes. Stay prepared. Stay safe. Take Cover.
