How does TakeoffAlert work?
To use TakeoffAlert, you first enter your takeoff data, including Runway Takeoff Distance Available (TODA), Takeoff Roll, and Stopping Distance. Once in takeoff position, tap the 'In Takeoff Position' button to begin monitoring. The app then provides real-time feedback on your aircraft's position relative to the runway and calculated takeoff requirements.
What devices does TakeoffAlert support?
TakeoffAlert is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Please note that Wifi-only iPads and iPod Touches require an external GPS device, such as a Bad Elf Pro, to function correctly. Appareo Stratus 1/2/3 and uAvionix Sentry GPS devices are not supported.
