About
Cut Map helps you shorten a rundown while protecting essential material and preserving a reviewed record of each cut decision.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Cut Map from Timer. Build an ordered rundown with estimated durations, essential blocks, optional priorities and transition notes, or explore the labeled example.
2. Enter the time still available, or explicitly take a snapshot of the running timer. Find a fitting cut map and review the proposed optional cuts.
3. Apply the reviewed decision, mark delivered blocks as you go and share the saved report. Start a fresh copy for another event while retaining the original decisions.
Silent presenter timers, segmented plans, haptic cues, Live Activities, rehearsal history, Coach, formats and script calculations remain available. Cut Map excludes delivered and previously skipped blocks, rejects stale proposals and preserves original estimates when applying cuts.
WHAT TO KNOW
Up to 30 blocks, including at most 18 optional blocks, per rundown. Durations are entered estimates of 5–3,600 seconds; available time is 0–21,600 seconds. The exact search minimizes summed importance of removed optional blocks, then excess time removed, then cut count. Importance is subjective and additive. It does not rewrite content, assess dependencies or guarantee delivery time. If essentials cannot fit, it says so. Timer snapshots are not live links. Up to 50 rundowns and 100 decisions per rundown.
