About
TalkPic is a picture-based AAC app for children and adults who find speaking hard. Tap picture cards to build a sentence, and TalkPic says it out loud with the device's voice.
TAP, AND TALKPIC SPEAKS
• Tap a card to add it to the sentence. Build sentences of up to three cards; caregivers can allow from one to six.
• Press Speak and the sentence is read out loud.
• Child mode keeps it simple: only pictures and the sentence strip. No editing, no settings.
START WITH READY-MADE CARDS
• 34 picture cards come ready in six lists: Actions, Food, Drinks, Daily life, Self-care and Feelings.
• Everyday needs such as "I want", "Water", "I'm happy" and "Bathroom" are on screen from day one.
MAKE YOUR OWN CARDS
• Add a photo from the gallery or the camera: their own cup, their own park, their favorite food.
• Record the card in your own voice if you like; without a recording, the card's name is spoken.
• Rename lists, reorder cards and choose how many cards each list shows.
• Cards stay where they are until you move them.
A VOICE THAT FITS
• Adjust speech rate and pitch, and listen right away with Try voice.
CAREGIVER MODE LOCKED WITH A PIN
• Adding and editing cards and changing settings happen only in caregiver mode, opened with a PIN you choose.
• Forgot the PIN? Reset it with a recovery code or the device lock.
FREE, OFFLINE, NO ADS
• TalkPic is free.
• It works without an internet connection.
• No ads, no account, no subscription and no data collection.
• Cards, photos and recordings are stored only on your device.
• Back up your cards to a file and restore them on another device.
• Delete everything with one tap using Delete all data.
Works on iPhone and iPad.
Important: TalkPic is a communication aid. It does not replace professional assessment, speech and language therapy, or education.
