There are many fake accounts

They should improve the security of this app almost all accounts are fake the only real ones are those that are already verified, it should be mandatory to verify accounts so that there are not many fake accounts in order to scam people.

What is this app!! Lol. If someone likes you, instead of being allowed to chat to them like every other app, it ask for subscription. Someone sent a text, subscription for reply. Most like are from fake profiles. Someone visited? Guess what, subscription to see who it was. Lol. So the only way to do anything here is pay money? Lol. Then there is subscription, VIP, super VIP whatever that is lol. Hahaha.. and that prices are not small. 50£ a year for yearly sub. Total ragebait, total garbage. Not worth it.

Waste of time

In Tokyo, maybe 9/10 profiles were fake. I couldnt match with more than 1 person but got many likes, so I paid for “see”. In Taipei this meant many matches, but I see maybe 9/10 profiles that like me have AI photos or are unverified or have no bio. IVe literally seen multiple profiles using the same photos. No one has tried to scam me though. Basically, I think theyre just full of bots or fake profiles to engage users. Ultimately its a big waste of time and they keep upselling you on every feature… its like Scoot Airlines for online dating.

I changed my cover photo 5 different times with real photos without filters that I’ve uploaded onto social media, all for them to tell me 5 different time that my photo is fake??? I guess good lighting equals fake pictures. Anyways I uninstalled. Hope everyone else has better luck.

Verification doesn’t work at all

Extremely frustrating experience. I’ve been trying to verify my profile since 2 days and I’ve uploaded countless photos. Current ones, old ones, different angles and every single verification attempt gets rejected. I have already used this app in the past and the verification worked without any issues back then, so I don’t understand why it suddenly doesn’t work anymore. Now my profile has even been hidden with the message: "Your profile has been hidden. Please upload a clear photo of yourself to get matches again.“ The problem is, I am uploading clear photos of myself and it still doesn’t work. To make things worse, I paid for the premium features but can’t even use the app. This has been a complete waste of time and money. Please fix your verification system or provide proper customer support!

I think using this app is waste of time but I’ve been using it for the past 10 years. Almost Scam rate is 190%. You can get the real person matched every 190 people you might get one real person and out of 190 real person you might get one normal person. I don’t really feedback on apps, but I think this app is really up to the ridiculous level.

Я уже устала удалять фейковые профили. Африканцы воруют фотографии европейцев из интернета и выдают себя за них. Такое ощущение, что в приложении одни фейки, наверное, так и есть. Еще неделю потестирую и удалюсь. I have met only one real person from America according to his voice message. All the others were fake. I am fed up with fake profiles there. The team of the app does nothing. I report and block, that’s all. Am I working for free for TanTan?

Only scammers and fraudsters

You’re a real person, yet you can’t get your photo verified. That’s a problem. The app is full of scammers using stolen photos. I’ve had negative experiences interacting with scammers and fraudsters. I wonder how *they* managed to pass the verification process.
