Great app!
*** Update ***
The developer was correct. I had moved from a Touch ID device to a Face ID device, and the app was instantly crashing. I deleted and reinstalled TapForms, and as long as I don’t try to use Face or Touch ID on the new device, the app opens just fine. Thanks for the tip! That should get me by a while longer.
Response from developer
If you move from an iPhone that has Touch ID to one that has Face ID this can happen. You would need to re-install Tap Forms and not enable Face ID with this old version. Tap Forms 5 does not have this issue. Version 4.0.9 is extremely old and does not support Face ID. I'm just guessing this is what your issue is as it's the most common crash on launch issue. I would also recommend upgrading to Tap Forms 5 to avoid this issue. Please email me at support@tapforms.com if you need assistance. Thanks! --- Brendan
Could not function w/o this app!
Great support!!
Stopped working on is 14
Response from developer
This may be due to an issue with TouchID. Did you have that enabled before? If you email me at support@tapforms.com I can help you solve the problem. Thanks! --- Brendan
Legacy Product Disabled
Response from developer
This is not due to Tap Forms being disabled. There's a switch you can toggle to enable or disable record editing. Tap on any record to view the details. Then tap on the action menu button at the top right. Then tap on the pencil button to toggle editing mode. So please try that and if you still have troubles, please contact me directly at support@tapforms.com and I'd be happy to help you to get it working for you again. Thanks! --- Brendan
Perfect for GTD - Getting Things Done
I have forms for my Vision of my life, 5 Goals for the coming year, 22 Responsibilities this year, 96 Projects to undertake this week and in the coming weeks, and 418 Actions to perform in various contexts this week that each bring me a step closer to my Vision.
I also keep checklists, 60 stories I am writing, 11 recipes, 53 inventions, 443 passwords, and plenty of financial information all encrypted in a database that doesn’t need any multinational corporations’ clouds to function. It all resides on my phone, quickly accessible.
I also routinely make backups to store offline so if I ever lose my phone, I can easily restore the whole database to a new one.
Now won’t work

Update has corrupted my database
Amazing app
Don’t bother

Hi Ghashlycrumbs. I'm very sorry you feel this way about Tap Forms. I've been constantly developing Tap Forms for 10 years now. True, the older version 4 of Tap Forms that you're using is no longer being updated. The newer operating system versions require me to keep up with the changes there. The old version uses code that has been deprecated for years now that would require a big overhaul to allow it to be updated to support the newer iOS versions. I asked you via email what the issues were with Tap Forms 5 and that maybe I could work on improving them for you, but you wouldn't give me any details. You just said it was not as good as the old version and didn't provide any any specifics. How am I supposed to change what you don't like if you don't tell me what that is? The feature requests and feedback that I receive from Tap Forms customers is what drives my development. The majority of the Tap Forms 5 interface is much like version 4, but there were new additions that I made such as multiple database document support, the new Photo Grid and Multi-Column List Views, multiple photo support, etc. I'm also currently busy on version 5.3 which will be available when iOS 12 ships. So if there's anything specific that you're not happy with in Tap Forms 5, I'd be happy to take a look into it to see if there's ways I can make it better for everyone. Thanks! -- Brendan
Tap forms on iPad2
App doesn’t synchronize anymore
Can’t sync
Excellent database - your creativity is the only limit
No Problems Here
I came here to check out what this version 5 was all about; and though I will wait to upgrade, I believe the developer will work hard to correct any issue the feedback reveals.
As far as the folks calling the developer "greedy" for charging $16 for their work product, I can only assume they've never been an entrepreneur. There is nothing wrong with charging for a product, work performed or a service. That's how most people are paid! Grow up already. Give up a couple of those $6 cups of coffee and call it even. 😑
Self sabotage guts a formerly great app

Sync is hit or miss
Great database app. Looking for geo search
The design makes data entry fast and easy.
I would really like a geo search function that would find all entries that were within a specified distance of a point. Now the location field is not very useful for searches.
Syncing works well too.
