Love the tag

The NFC tag really made me feel like my social media apps were separated from my phone. It made the app blocking more effective and I can use it with friends, so I like the social accountability piece too.

Tapd helps you focus by blocking distracting applications like social media and games. It uses NFC tags to initiate focus sessions, making the act of starting to focus a physical ritual. You can customize which apps are blocked and for how long.

How does the group feature work?

You can create or join focus groups with friends, roommates, or family. The app displays a 'Together Meter' to show who is currently in a focus session. Leaderboards allow for friendly competition, motivating users by showing their progress relative to others.

Is Tapd free to use?

Yes, the application is free to download and use. The provided information indicates no in-app purchases or advertisements, suggesting a completely free experience.
