Easy to Use App, No Payout, Minimal App Dev Support
I’ve been using Tapestri actively for about six months. I used the “check-in” feature daily and earned the daily maximum of ~$0.60 (as per confirmation from the app devs after I inquired via email why not all my check-ins were registering). Once I got over $40, and was thus getting close to the $65 minimum for payout, my rewards seemed to fail to be retained. At the end of the month when the value is transferred to the next tier (current to pending; pending to payout), the value would transfer from current to pending, but my payout began to be decreased by the pending amount. Naturally, this is highly frustrating and I’ve emailed the app devs multiple times over the past 2+ months to get this resolved. (Emails sent to the same addresses from which they previously replied.) Sadly, I’ve received no reply.
I’m posting this here both as a warning to potential future users and as an ask to the app devs to fix this issue. The app is a great concept and easy to use, but without payout the purpose for the user is pointless.
I’ve emailed the app devs again today requesting help and will be deleting the app after the month ends if I don’t get a satisfactory response back.

Scam
This app is nothing but a scam, no payouts, no communication, instagram account was up now deleted. Shame on Apple for allowing it on the App Store still
Unable to contact support
Hi,
I downloaded this app some time ago. I waited for payment to come through as I had reached the threshold, but nothing came through by email.
I tried contacting support several times, but nothing came back in reply. I have about$100 due to me but, no way of getting access to it.
The app itself works great. However, there is no way to manage your payments once you have selected to use autopay.

no payment
I’ve had this app for over a year, the payment threshold used to be $15 and i received that payment BUT they changed it to $65, i am over the threshold and i have been emailing for over a month as i haven’t seen that money and i have had no reply whatsoever. very disappointing as i have had the app for over a year and a response would’ve been nice. i wanted to be patient as they paid out before , but a month of no replies :( i think it’s a scam.

I try to contact them by customer support and never answer back, I got 100 bucks in my account , I know they are reading the reviews of the app most them with only one star for the same reason.

Won’t even open anymore
I’ve had this app downloaded and running in the background for a little over a year now. After some time i decided to remove it from my home screen to declutter. I just decided to open it for the first time in a few months to check how much i’ve acquired through background activity. Well, i click on the app and get nothing but a blank white screen. I left my phone unlocked with the app loading, or so i thought, for literally 20 minutes with full signal wifi strength and nothing loaded at all. Tried again on 5g cellular and still nothing. The rest of my apps are opening and loading just fine, so not sure what’s up with that but would be nice to know i will still be getting paid for the data i’ve been willingly handing over for the past year.

Not worth your time
I’ve had this app for over 7 months and only made $2.59. You cannot cash out until you reach $65 and even then many reviews state the app kept them from being able to cash out. It would take me YEARS at this rate before I could reach the threshold for a cash out. I like the idea of this app but it completely drains my phone battery from running in the background and does not pay adequately for how much you need to run, open the app, and tap on pop ups.
Update: I’m deleting this app. I’ve realized this has been causing most of my battery drainage throughout the day and caused my phone to glitch (gps doesn’t work). I’ve only made $0.02 since my initial review.

Problems with payment. Possibly a scam!!
Took me a year to earn $69 and it’s $65 for them to be able to pay out. Last year before this was the case I had £12 paid into my bank. Think they started legit now I think it’s a scam. They have stopped returning emails for over 10 days now it’s ridiculous!!
Don’t waste your time, stay clear!
I’ve had the app nearly 12 months now, I’ve reached the $65 needed to cash out but nothing happens. Complete joke of an app!!!
Issues with pay
I downloaded this app to get paid for my data. It says that I have automatic payout and will it allow me to change it. Also, I was supposed to have a payout last month, but it never showed up in my bank account. We will see if support actually responds. I’m not too happy with this so far.
Update: I’ve been told that the threshold has changed and I’ve waited for my funds to get to that amount. I have more than the amount needed for the funds and still haven’t received my pay. I’ve contacted support and it’s been 3 days with no response. This app is not worth my time or my battery life. I will be deleting this app. Changes need to happen to make it legitimate.

DO NOT waste your time
I cannot stress this enough: if you want to get paid for your data, this is NOT the way to do it. I got one payout of $20 and was eventually expecting another, only to find out they had increased their payout threshold to $65. So I waited (for months and months) to get up to $65, and still no payout. Contacted customer service, no response. Tried messaging them on Facebook, nothing. A visit to their Facebook page will show you they are still regularly posting promotional content, but all of the comments are from people who are upset that they have NOT been paid as promised, and aren’t getting any answers.

Dont ever expect to get paid
Poor customer service, used to be better. I have had this app for 3 years accruing a balance I have earned over $100. In that amount of time I was paid once after complaining as to why I said customer service was better. That’s when the payouts were set low and you could cash out after earning $20, suppose to be paid automatically but I have never been paid without complaining to though. Now payouts are set “automatically” after you hit $65. Well I have been over that for nearly half a year. Still waiting to get paid so I can uninstall. They have a stipulation if you uninstall the app you won’t receive your money.

Horrendous Customer Support
No longer answering my emails and I am owed $85. This has happened before - they are always “catching up with payment”. They simply stop responding. Very sketchy.

This app seemed promising was even able to cash out once before they started the games of we changed our policy and now you need this to cash out which I’ve completed and have now been waiting cash out for well over a year and have been promised and told over and over again I’m on the next batch of payments I’m on priority list yadda yadda they repeat the same lies they have told me almost verbatim a year ago about why I haven’t received my payment yet they are a scam and steal your data without payment do not download I’m collecting everything and will be seeing about the next step in my complaint against this company owed just under $100 in cash out and now my app isn’t functioning properly like it’s frozen so I can lose all my funds by not completing an action in 7 days

Impossible to cash out and the team does not respond when contacted. You need to reach $65 to cash out. I have over $110 and have not received a penny. They are obviously stealing months and months of your data.
