Creative screen time done right!
Downloaded this for my nephew thinking it would be just another kids app, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. The activities actually get kids to think, create and use their imagination instead of just tapping through games or videos. My favorite part is that it feels encouraging and low pressure, there’s no harsh grading or wrong answers.
One of the few apps where screen time actually feels productive. Definitely worth trying. My nephew loves it!!

Great for kids
I got this game for my son’s summer break. He loves it so far. I’ll add more details as he plays more
Really helpful for my daughter
My daughter (11) is sharp but she freezes up when put on the spot. The facts game has actually been good for that in a way I did not anticipate. Taroo gives her a topic and she has to speak about it, and because it is a game she just goes for it without overthinking. Last week she got a topic she knew nothing about and she still tried, which is honestly more than she would do in a classroom. I can see her getting more comfortable talking through things. Content library could use more variety but the team seems to be actively adding stuff so I am not worried.

My 6y old loves this!!
Parrot play is so fun and she and her brother giggle each time they make a sound. I love how engaged they are and would definitely allow them to play this game more!!
The parents dashboard is also super useful!

So much better than other learning games!
My 7 year old had clearly moved past Lingokids and I am not ready to open up screen time to games like Roblox. Taroo seems to be a perfect middle ground. He has fun and I love that he’s picking up creative skills. Love Doodle Master the best. Gamifies something as simple as doodling. I hope they’ll quickly add a lot more quests to keep it interesting. Great start though!
