Worst fire app in Australia
Terrible app Won’t load a list of fires !! wont load and list of warnings !!! Can see general position of fires on the map only, still cant see warnings 🤦♂️🤷🏻♂️ there is basically no useful information in this app for the public at all, other than a map that says wildfire is somewhere in the vicinity of a red flame!! There is no indication on the map of burnt area or fire direction for locals to keep an eye on and make sensible decisions to leave or not. its a terrible map interface… clucky almost unusable They need to take a leaf from the vic fires app its awesome easy to use easy to find warnings and extremely useful information Victoria learnt from 2009 seems Tasmania has a lot of learning to in regards to communicating useful, accurate information to the public.

It’s not exactly accurate but still worth it.
Not exactly what I expected, it does say you can see how many trucks are attending. But can’t see that in the app. Would also be good if we can set our own tone to the fire notifications

Amateur hour design
Important apps like this should be designed by developers who know what they’re doing. It’s not that hard or expensive get it done properly.
Watch zones.
They won’t or can’t be deleted.
