No subscriptions, easy to use, changed my sleep habits forever. I just wish I found out about it sooner!
Great idea - Bad execution, does not think about the User Experience
I’ve had TAVO for half a year now and I love the idea and it does work in terms of the vibrating alarm each morning.
The reason I mention the lack of proper good user experience is that every night when I have to set my alarm, the Bluetooth disconnects and I have to close the application and reopen. Sometimes that doesn’t work and I need to close it again. This is an every night issue… the developers need to fix this because this is killing the user experience. I’m ready to throw this expensive product and just use a regular alarm at this point.

Connection Issues
I like the product. Every few days the chip stops connecting. I have to delete the app, re-download, then it works fine. I contact support but they weren’t any help. It worked fine on my iPhone 13 but has the connection issues on my iPhone 17.
Tons of bugs
Seems like a great product in theory but the app has so many bugs that it renders it nearly useless. Constantly having to uninstall and reinstall, needing to verify email and change password every night to maybe get the app to just let you set a simple wake up time. Not impressed and will likely return the product. If you’re considering buying this product I wouldn’t recommend it.

This app’s bugs have been fixed and I’m so happy! I use it every day with my tavo device and I love it so much, I can’t go without it anymore
TAVO app review
The tavo app is clearly very focused on performing the function of an alarm clock. There definitely is room for improvement but I understand that this is a brand new product on the market and we’re in it for the long run. I appreciate that there are no subscriptions and the app connects to the device very easily. I’ve already seen developments and improvements from the team and customer support has been nothing but wonderful. Can’t wait to see where this goes and how it develops!

Keep having to uninstall
I’m not sure what’s going on. But I use it fine for a couple days and then all of a sudden I constantly get prompted with “oops something went wrong” and I can’t get past that screen. Great when it works. If not resolved soon likely will return product due to app.
Great Idea, Poor Execution
App is super buggy and won’t even let me set the alarm time most nights.
Good concept, bad connection with linking with app
As a software engineer, I am very disappointed in the connection issues this product has when trying to connect to the phone application. Given how expensive the TAVO alarm is, you would think the company would have the integrity to test their device Bluetooth connectivity against its software. The device requires minimal two app software restarts until it actually connects. TAVO needs to improve on this flaw

Great concept, poorly executed
I love the concept, I just wish it was well executed. Constant connection problems, at a minimum each time you set the alarm have to open the app, exit the app, try again, that kind of thing. Tonight, it completely failed to connect forcing me to hold the reset button on the device for *30 seconds*, which is doubly annoying when the button is incredibly poorly located and seems intentionally hard to find. Really trying to like this device and app, the concept works well, but there is so much wrong with the functionality.

Hey Tommy B, Thanks for your feedback! We're sorry you experienced connection issues with TAVO, this is definitely not how it's supposed to work. If you're still having trouble, please reach out to us, and we’ll make it right. The button is a bit small and can take some getting used to, but after a couple of weeks, it should feel more natural. Its design helps prevent accidental shutdowns, but we understand the frustration. We're already working on an improved version that will be easier to locate and turn off. We really appreciate your feedback and will take it into account as we continue improving TAVO!
