They kept me updated and informed where the taxi driver was and the fixed price meant it was all agreed and no nasty surprise charges. 10/10.
Sending new login data to UK number doesn’t work
I tried to contact the developer directly but even that doesn’t work. I tried to reset my login although I don’t think I had an account. But when I put in my UK number no code/data ever received back.
Last minute cancel
We spent $80 on a tour in Funchal but we were staying on the other side of the island, and had to get to Funchal at 10:30 in the morning. The Taxiin app cancelled our taxi 7 minutes before supposed arrival. We had to scramble to find something else or we would have been out all the money for the tour. Never use this app!!!!

In our terms and conditions it does say when you schedule a ride in remote areas it is best to contact the call centre because there are no taxis in remote areas. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Quoted me €6 for a trip, then called a taxi far away and charged me €13.
