Incredible app

Holy cow, this app is great! Simple and powerful. I love interface of being able to touch the screen and see what notes are what. Love this app, great job to whoever made this.

Very good and improving!

The core functionality was always great - for me, it was the UI that needed some finesse. The last two updates have gone a long way towards making this the GOAT. I have but do not use 3 or 4 other spectrogram apps.

Honestly, given the insistence on ultra small and narrow font (understandable given the real estate issues, but sometimes it feels excessive… nobody can read 2 pt. Arial Narrow) even making the menu close ‘X’ bigger would help.

realtime color spectrum in ULTRASONIC, not here!

haven’t you dev’s heard of color? like red for too loud? blue for low level? green for mid level? yellow for high input? I couldn't delete this fast enough but i did notice all the pricey apps and plugins. I guess most reviewers here thought so too. And no trials?? (good luck selling anything)

Mud

Absolutely brilliant at revealing nasty low and high-frequency content and therefore facilitating targeted shelving . 🙏🙏🏿👍😄

Please give me an option use to audio files.

I don’t know where the option to use them even is.

Latest update inverted frequency

Lows are high and highs are low :(

Very Helpful In Amateur Radio Work

I use this Very Useful FREE Software to View Amateur Radio Signals. Thank You & 73 ve3myz james

Perfect!!!

My every day app)) Thank you!

Works well but not made for iPhone

Great quality spectrogram. UI is not usable on iPhone (the buttons are too small) but you get a spectrogram already on opening the app.

you all should see COLOR SPECTRUM in ultrasonic

waaaay better! (haven’t you dev’s heard of color? like red for too loud?)

Useful for piano

The piano roll is of much use for at a glance song learning
Unobtrusive and free!
A great visual aid

Cant see a thing

This is probably a good app but the font size is microscopic so I can’t read a thing even with my glasses. Needs a way to zoom on or something because if I can’t read it it’s kinda useless to me. Even tried on my iPad and still can’t see

Simple - Just what’s needed

Would be good to zoom on a narrower band.
Would be nice to set custom markers on specified frequencies.

helpful for recreating songs

really helpful app when it comes to trying to recreate songs with MIDI or to use it as a reference.

Great for Musicians

Love the piano keyboard on the right to link highlighted frequencies to specific notes, and worked brilliantly for me for visualising some music theory.

I play bass guitar and would love to be able to zoom in vertically. I appreciate that I might not get any better resolution (as the frequency bins at the bass end are probably quite wide) but it would help fill the screen and make it easier to match to notes.

Amazing tool, simple to use

I'm using it for measuring ambient room noise for science experiments and it works great!

Just Great!

A great tool to analyze and visualize your own voice

Needs to pause when the host pauses

The overlay of named keys would be incredibly valuable if it wasn’t so fleeting. The failure to respect the paused state is incredibly frustrating and limiting

A good spectrogram

I have not yet found the perfect spectrogram app. This is one of the better ones. It is simple. The spectrogram is very clear and presented well. It shows sound and the results are intuitive to a novice. It seems to lack advanced features such as adjusting the FFT parameters. In particular, switching between linear and log would be a first feature to add. Allowing a a recording of the spectrogram would be good. Producing a spectrogram from an audio file in Voice Notes or from a file would be good. But if you’re not an engineer knowing what these features mean and you just was to see what sound looks like then this is a good choice.
