Brilliant Midi Controller
I just purchased this brilliant app after only purchasing TC-11 five days ago, luckily both were on sale, but this takes you into another world of musical wizardry, it records into Cubasis 3 and connects to AUv3 instruments 👌

Connecting that to Zeeon and ODYSSEi, and commanding both with your fingers will make you feel like the new Jean Michel Jarre. Extremely joyful !!!!!

Bought this when it was first released. Loved it. Now it works primarily on outdated IAA apps. Half my AUv3 apps don’t realize it exists. Please update.

Creative and innovative
Literally your imagination is the limit..visually interesting to watch as a part of a show and also gives you ways to manipulate midi in ways you couldn’t of imagined. Worth every penny but

Look at all the controls! I haven’t had this app all that long but it is quite a bit of fun. I’ve spent more time creating patches than actually playing anything but ya know. Once you learn what things do a lot of possibilities open up. Overall it’s a great touch midi controller with pretty cool presets to start, but the fun and flexibility really opens up when you customize your own patches to suit your needs and playing style.
There are a few things that would make this app even better, the big one being audio bus midi support. Without it, it’s a hassle if you want to record anything into a DAW. Also it would be neat to be able to customize your own color themes because most of them available just aren’t appealing to me. Lastly if there were further options for layout on the multi patches that would be handy.

...connected to iM1 and Sunrizer and it was staggering. TC-Data does things like no other. The control over just about every parameter is ridiculous...even the lights (if you have a light show) can be synced or un-synced.

Takes a bit of getting used to.
I've found this app works well as a midi controller with several synth apps on my iPad. I've had some interesting results using it with Jordantron in particular. It also works well with FL Studio and Ableton Live 9 on my PC, so all in all, I think it's well worth it.
My favorite midi controller
Excellent investment for controlling & playing synths. It works similar to the TC-11, but gives the flexibility to do it with other apps.

Ich bin gerade erst am Anfang, dieses App zu entdecken. Ich nutze das App zusammen mit einem schmalen Buchla 200e System und bin begeistert über die Steuerungsmöglichkeiten. Im Prinzip sehr ähnlich wie der TC-11 Synth, allerdings hier ein reiner MIDI und OSD-Controller. Einfach ein großartiges User Interface, hier werden wirklich die Möglichkeiten, die so ein Tablett bietet, bis an die Grenzen ausgereizt: 10 Touch Punkte, Accelerometer, Giro, Kompass, vielleicht könnte man noch ein Mikrophon als Windkontroller und die Frontkamera für ein optisches Theremin ergänzen. Den dahinter hängenden Patches fehlt leider der intuitive Zugang der Performance-Oberfläche, aber Komplexität hat vermutlich ihren Preis.
Das Einzige, was mir wirklich zu fehlen scheint (vielleicht habe ich es auch nur noch nicht entdeckt) ist die Möglichkeit microtonaler Skalen. Viertelton wäre ganz gut, aber richtig gut wäre Harry Partchs 43 stufige Tonleiter. Ich weiß, dass das mit MIDI wohl nicht so einfach sein soll, da MIDI erst einmal nur Halbtonschritte zur Verfügung stell und man beim Programmieren die übrigen Töne wohl durch entsprechende Pitch-Bend Messages ergänzen muss.
Ach so, auch wenn es das GUI dann ein wenig klein wäre, wäre eine iPhone Version bzw. das Ganze als Universal App auch super, insbesondere für die ganzen Bewegungssensoren.

TC-11は使い方で、苦しんだけど、こちらはシンセ部分が無いので、目的が絞りやすく使い易かったです。パッチの名称もイメージ名称ではなく、具体的な名称だったので、参考にしやすかった。タッチやジェスチャーにccをアサイン出来るのでシーケンサーのオートメーションやxyパッド、モジュレーションホイールとは比べものにならないくらい動的でエモーショナルな音楽表現が可能になります。
Amazingly Cool!
This is an amazingly cool midi-controller. One of those apps that almost justifies an iPad purchase itself. Use TC-DATA in combo with iOS Synths apps such as ANIMOOG, WAVEMAPPER, ALCHEMY, MITOSYNTH and you can control their extra parameters like aftertouch, using a whole host of multitouch gestures around the iPad surface. This allows for musical expression that will leave you in absolutely no doubt...the iPad itself is a legitimate musical instrument. It looks beautiful and allows you to express your musical soul in satisfying and addictive ways. The setup of patches to midi note and CCs may look complicated, but while it has plenty of depth, the help manual covers everything clearly and easily. Enjoy!

Extremely well thought-out and complete. Brings synth apps to life with it's exciting user interface. Although very comprehensive, TC Data's difficulty is easily scalable. Take as big or as small a bite as you want. Another winner from Bit Shape!
The Most Organic Playing Surface Yet
This is the MIDI playing surface I never knew I was missing until I got it. All the joy and fun of TC-11 with any MIDI sounds I have access to. The presets are fun, and once you get how it all works they're simple to tweak to create exactly the playing experience you want. Definitely read the manual and be ready to experiment. The payoff is a whole new iPad performance experience. You'll never want to go back to a boring old keyboard again.

Control overload
I just had to download this app because TC-11 is a masterpiece for the touchscreen and I cannot begin to imagine the endless hours of effort in creating TC-Data. This will be a classic controller for sure.
Update: this is even better then expected. TC-Data is the MIDI controller you can program like a modular synth and play like an instrument.
