Lots of UX issues! Buyer beware

1. Why are we limited to fixing scan issues on the app? A desktop app/website would be so much faster to work with. Also my phone is a potato but my computer has a 16-core processor. Do the math…

2. Why are some cards marked “no foil exists, skipping” when I’m literally holding a foil version in my hand? (This is what inspired me to write this review)

3. Show the actual picture while I’m fixing a scan in the selection screen!!! So annoying to press back twice if I forgot the variant/set etc!

4. USELESS for land cards. There’s no point using it unless you’re going to sort by set and scan each land set pile with a filter set. It thought every mountain I scanned in was a rare 7th edition one worth $10 a pop. Took almost an hour to get them fixed manually.

5. Does not handle 2 sided cards well.

6. No option to say every card in a batch will be foil, have to do it afterward (and get told they’re not foil).

7. Can’t set a year range, only a specific year in scan filter. Pointless.

8. The device regularly halts over the slightest misalignment (cards not gripping).

9. I already said this but the lack of website for managing cards and fixing scans is just tragic.

In Conclusion:
If you’re a hobbyist with a somewhat sizable collection (500-5k) then it might be worth getting this thing, but any more than 5k and you should look elsewhere, this would be awful if I needed a scanner that could handle more than ~500 cards an hour, it does not feel like it respects my time, and the app is definitely not worth paying a subscription for.

Good for what it is

Has minor bug but gets the job done.

Garbage app and product

Don’t get duped into paying 200 bucks for junk you can 3d print only to find out you have to pay 4.99 a month to use it

Not bad…..needs some improvement

The only big concern I have right now is that it crashes when you try to manual grid scan. Other than that it’s wonderful. Get the grid scan fixed.
