Definitely not free

Unless you want to pay $10 a month for this or $60 per year, don’t even bother downloading it. I was using the free version and I liked it, but after 9 days you can’t even do that. There are better apps for this out there. Wouldn’t recommend

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. You’re right that Tear Away is not completely free - the app includes a limited introductory period before requiring a subscription for continued access. We’re sorry the pricing wasn’t clear before you downloaded it, and we’re reviewing how we communicate that more transparently. Subscriptions help us continue improving the app, adding new sobriety tools, and supporting the community. We appreciate that you gave Tear Away a try and are glad you found it helpful during the time you used it.

Easy to use

Very sticky app!!

Game changer…

It’s quite simple, really… tearing away a little “progress” paper each day like a day calendar… a dashboard for positive forward movement… small steps rewarded… a community of support… journaling… it’s the first app like this that has helped me truly fight the good fight… worth a try, for sure…

Good tracker

The print is to small but I like the way it helps me control my intake and the ability to know I don’t need to drink every day. Lets me know that I can control my intake

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback, we've addressed this issue and updated the app to reflect the changes.

Best App for Sobriety Seekers

I love this app. It sends reminders, has great community support, offers realistic challenges, and has kept me motivated and focused.

App offered trial, but immediately charged my card

I downloaded and began to use this app in good faith that I would get the trial that I was offered However it immediately charged my card.

Response from developer

Hi Onyx0318, I'm sorry about your experience. My guess is you didn't have the free trial enabled, we allow you to turn it on to try it free for 3 days which most people are doing successfully. It's not automatically enabled though.

Holding me accountable

I am really loving this app because it shows me all the progress not just in the day our minute but the seconds every second count and I really love this app

Longevity

I’ve seen my parents health degrade in recourses and want to do everything I possibly can to stay healthy and vital as I age. Simple as that. This app is an important addition.

Beyond Helpful

I was looking for a nice looking app to help me track my alcohol intake and cut back and this one is literally perfect. Definitely encourages me to not reach for it most days!

Very Helpful and Motivating

I just want to reduce alcohol intake, mainly for better sleep, health and longevity. The app keeps it front of mind and I’ve definitely cut back. Feeling good.
