Search Function?

How in the world do you search this app??

Tired for surfing

How about adding a search button, I don’t like surfing through everything to see if you have something I want to read. Doesn’t seem like an improvement .

The Recent Update Made me Delete CNET

The entire UI update confused me thinking will CNET be rebranding to Tech Pulse? Got me so confused and zoned out that I simply deleted all CNET apps because I don’t have the time to think about what will be in the coming months lol

No longer updating

I have been an avid follower of CNET over many years. I really looked forward to reading the latest tech news every day. It was always the CNET app that I went to for the latest updates and product reviews. Unfortunately the daily updates have stopped. I've been online trying to solve the issue even to deleting the app and reinstalling it - to no avail. I've tried deleting the app and waiting for a few days (I so missed it in this time) and again reinstalling but again no joy.
I'm in the UK so I wonder whether this has anything to do with it now? It didn't in the past so why now?

BAD

The app(stories) have not been updated in over a week and there are no pictures anymore. CNET needs to issue an update immediately.

Broken App

The app has gotten progressively worse over the years. Assets and articles don’t load. The app is stale and doesn’t seem like it’s really been updated in years to the point where the main article has been about a Samsung ring from 6 years ago.

Does not update

App only shows old articles. It’s now been a month and still the same!!!

Won’t Update

The app used to update every day, but there has been nothing updated in nearly an entire week.

Stopped Updating

As of 25 July all app content/articles have not updated in at least 3 days. Tried removing the app and reinstalling with the same issues. App support option just goes to the actual website, which has updated articles. As a long time user this is incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially since article content and quality have been going downhill along with app functionality.

Slide across top

The app generally is good but the slider across the top has not updated in a very long time. Still shows galaxy ring so a little disappointed all new going down the page is updated regular

App constantly says outdated

Every time app is opened, I get a dialog box that the app is outdated and needs to be refreshed in the App Store. In the App Store it only states Open, that it was updated two months ago. And whatever prompted me to go to CNET is then forgotten when the app opens to the home page and not the desired location.

Review of CNET APP

Was to review the APP which I am completely hooked on it’s my go to source of expertise before buy my electronics also an excellent source for new products

Tease

Email promo showed an article about cyber security for the home. The app shows endless ads and no way to find the story I care about.

Prefernces, why ask?

Asks for your preferences and proceeds to dump a bunch of articles that you didn’t want. Why ask? Deleted.

Inappropriate ads in app

CNET, you need to make sure you are reviewing the ads that are being posted in your app, many are extremely inappropriate adult content. And there is no way to report or block them in your app. Get this addressed asap, or I will report to Apple App Store.

Not Helpful

80% product reviews and endorsements. Not much news or new technical information.

Bummer!

I see a headline that I’m interested in and when I click on it it’s not to be found! Click bait?

Outdated UI, bad privacy policy, and ads

I’d give it a zero if I could. The UI is terrible and outdated, there’s ads everywhere and their privacy policy is terrible, saying that they will track you across other websites and apps to serve ads

CNET is the best

I am so pleased to watch your YouTube and use your app!! You the the one and only!!!

Old CNET is Dead

This has turned into ad central, CNET has sold out to ads and no longer provides the previous level of news they did. They have so many ads that “look” news articles.
