Bad customer service
I am getting too much attempt for last 2 weeks. Their customer support form in their website not works for a field is missing. Emailed to them but no response. I can’t get my account back.
Good and means you can communicate without sharing your number
Pros:
Great for communication without sharing your number.
Great for finding chats and connecting to people all over the world.
Loads of fun bots and add ins.
Great translation feature*
Cons:
Full of far right, mysogynistic and very dodgy content.
Have had attacks and death threats for no reason over this app. Hide your account if possible.
Have been banned once for no reason, no explanation or any feedback. It was clearly a mistake.
* Translation feature doesn't work most of the time with larger messages since they added ai.

Terrible app
The app is full of scammers. I got flagged by someone so been trying to get it resolved and there basically no support that respond back. Also for the volunteer chat for support is pointless. So this app is junk. I’ll say it was nice while I had it but if I can’t use it then it’s worthless

без каких-либо действий исчез один из чатов. я не удаляла чат чат и не очищала историю. пожалуйста, проверьте с чем это связано, и если это возможно, помогите восстановить чат. буду благодарна за помощь. спасибо!

Взломали аккаунт уже сутки не могу в него войти
Вчера утром пришло смс с кодом, сразу перешла в приложение, но аккаунт уже вылетел
Сутки не могу войти ни с одного устройства, при вводе номера пишется, что лимит попыток ограничен и нужно подождать, уже и ждала сутки и все равно зайти не могу
Что делать, не знаю

AVOID-app uses privacy as bait for profiteering
This app was fine for a while. A nice place to have private groups and chats without worrying about the whole world being able to see your conversation.
Recently though I've been getting a lot of spam messages. Several a day!
I went to change my settings to only allow people in my contacts to message me, but guess what? That's a premium feature! Total BS.
I reached out to "support", which the app says is volunteer-provided (more BS), and asked for a solution, but after 2 weeks have gotten no response.
USE SIGNAL, WHATSAPP, IMESSAGE, or even FACEBOOK MESSENGER. All are end-to-end encrypted and I never get spam on any of them.
I think Telegram has become a scam, TBH
