Works as advertised
I’ve never used an app like this, and had to work thru a few quirks to get it all working. Even so, I was recording some releasable videos, from my script, using voice control, and the iPhone remote control app, within about 30 minutes of first downloading the free trial. So I just went ahead and bought it. Much more cost effective for the few times a month I’ll need it than the pricey subscription based apps. And this one works perfectly fine.

Recommend this for clergy
I have used this for the majority of my weekly messages during the pandemic. It works for my needs and found it simple to load, easy to change speed, stop if needed, and continue or scroll. I use it in the pulpit and to produce weekly broadcasts of Bible Study and devotional. The iPad makes it easy to carry and not fear someone taking my notes with worship leaders, song leader, and others using the same pulpit for the service. Like with all software, using it makes it easy to learn all the features. You can’t be more cost effective for a simple to use device. Thanks for this lifesaver.

Insanely useless
Once I open the teleprompter with a file loaded. There isn’t any way to get back to the main starting page. The app is useless. This is not a very intuitive app. The. Help files are only the Mac version Not iPad.
Does Not Support Family Sharing
This app does not support family sharing. I have three iPads and it will not allow me to buy one and install on my personal iPads. I had to buy for each one. Taking this back. Still a great app!
Doesn’t recognize Bluetooth microphone on iPad
It only recognizes iPads internal microphone.
Also There is no option to align the text towards the lens of the iPad in horizontal mode. It all appears in the center.

No technical support. False advertising
I tested the trial versions on my Mac and iPad. The app worked well for my needs. I purchased the $39.99 version for my Mac. The support materials indicated that I would have access to the app on my iPad. Now, I can’t get the app to work on the iPad without shelling out another $15. Ive been emailing the friendly support for help, but no reply from them. Buyers be aware.

Can’t edit document
If you open and paste text in a document you can’t access the options of the document. The gear icon disappears and there’s no way to restore it, even if you close the app.
Useful but unpolished and unintuitive.
I have paid for the full version and while the app works, the interface is tragic; rewinding should be as easy as thumbing the speed slider backwards, but there's unintuitive sequences of button presses to get it to rewind, and forget making it rewind faster without more weird interface design. It has the ability to mark segments, but the facility disappeared into the byzantine interface and now I can't find it anymore. Even with an off-screen assistant operating the remote control app, she gave up on it and we went back to me surreptitiously poking at the remote hidden behind the podium.

Although this app seems free, you really have to pay a fee when you open the app, there isn’t even a basic version.

Finally found what I wanted!
I’ve just spent the past two hours downloading and testing teleprompter apps for iPad. I ended up deleting every one for different reasons. What I wanted was a cleanly designed, simple to use app that scrolled my words on the page in clear, easy to read letters. I wanted a convenient touch-bar to vary the speed. This app has many other features as well, all designed for user friendliness. Thank you, developers! I will definitely purchase this app after the trial period ends.
