Good to know when you get 35ft in the air, the app just shuts down, it takes a bit to get it back open, it’s got to play a 6 second animation graphic once you open it which ends up getting your drone stuck in a tree. Good job guys

The app crashing is the only flaw to the app. It always crashes in the worst situations. Like when I’m flying over my house or flying towards a fence. Please fix this for a 5-star rating. I think everyone would appreciate that. On iPhone by the way.

It works really well and is quite fun. But sometimes when I’m using it on my iPad, it crashes. Not sure if it’s the iPad’s fault or the apps fault. But something to keep in mind

Love the drone, so fun to fly, it was gifted to me by my moms uncle. Such an amazing drone, would highly recommend purchasing. 👏
Improve it
If you do anything other than letting it hover, it seems so that the app just crashes. So if I keep turning right for example, my app crashes and the drone keeps flying right causing it to crash into a wall and being a hazard. I am saying this with the latest version of the drone and app.

The App Sucks 2 ⭐️⭐️. The Drone is Good (for beginners) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Long story short: The app itself sucks, today I dusted off the case for my Tello, charged up a battery to fly around for 10 minutes, in this amount of flying time the app crashed 3 times, not only this but upon first takeoff, the drone decided to veer to the left by a lot (not a calibration issue). crashed Once from taking a photo, the other two crashed just randomly. I don’t have the paid app and I probably won’t do that since I have a DJI mini that does everything I’d want, with a great app. The fact of the matter, is that the standard app for this drone is bad, which is telling. If you want a Tello, do some research as the 6 dollar paid FPV app is highly recommended amongst Tello users (I lack this experience)
As for the drone. I think it’s a cool small drone. It’s the best budget drone you can find in that it’s not entirely meant for kids as the cheap 30-70 dollar drones tend to be but this can very well be given to a kid who wants to learn about drones/flying. It’s main purpose to me is an entry into Drones, to see not only if they are for you, but it comes with great controls which are borrowed in collaboration with DJI whom are one of if not the top Drone companies. So the drone will fly and behave similarly to DJI drones (without obstacle avoidance).
I recommend the drone if you can find a 100% stable App experience. Cause otherwise it’s a bad time with the free Tello app. Which sucks cause it never crashed when I got the drone and the few times I’ve flown it, until today. Which just tells me the Devs of this software aren’t staying on top of it or don’t seem to care about the Tello app.

Real good app but
It occasionally crashes mid-flight, and this is really, really, reallllly bad (because it can hit somebody). I am using an iPhone 16 on iOS 26. Please fix this issue and update the app more, it has so much potential
Disappointment
Worst drone ever,(should of looked at reviews first) when i flied the drone for the first time and made sure to charge the battery beforehand then I pressed the button on the app to make it take off, then it took off but the app said the drone died then the app crashed. Then the drone hovered 5ft in the air we had to take a string and had to get the propellers to hook onto the string after that we gave up on it. But then today we tried to connect the drone it would not connect to the app and would blink red,this is after we charged it for two hours. I have one thing to say after this… LOOK AT THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY THE DRONE!
