Telus rolls out an AI-plagued slop app alternative, "optional upgrade" is pure BS seeing as now TELUS Connect won't do anything but tell me to go try their artificial garbage.

They fixed my issue i had with the pause devises feature not working, i am happy with this app again.

Works great, especially when I need to turn off Kids internet on their gadgets.
Never Re-Syncs
The app has almost never worked since having it, missing options of what we can see on our home wifi, being able to control anything on it including a password.
Please fix issue
Since changing addresses, the app won’t let me use any of the parental management features for the devices. The modem is online, the app recognizes the internet services and account, but It’s been 2 months since we moved and the resync feature is stuck saying it will be resolved soon and nothings changed.

App doesn’t work
From a big Cie like yours, it’s unacceptable to not fix your main app. The problem is there for too long. Even your technical support dont understand why it’s not fixed already. Do something!!!

Was told the app is being updated globally. It will take several weeks/months.
There is literally zero support for this app from Telus. Everything is gears towards their other services and the techs always get confused about the Telus app. They don’t listen that it’s a connect app issue. 🙄🙄

Telus support told me that the application does not work and won’t work for many months until they try to fix it.

It’s says I must be connected to my home Wi-Fi network
This app is terrible. I am relying on a prior generation of boosters and a wifi router. When trying to add my boosters, the says I must be on my home network when I’m already on it. I may need to switch to a different provider to receive new hardware because Telus isn’t doing a replacement without charging for a rental.

Oops we are unable to log you in
There have been several occasions when I have tried to log into this app to change a downtime setting and the app will not work and tell me I have to try again later. It’s infuriating. I put WiFi time locks on certain devices but because I can’t log into the app sometimes I can’t cancel or change them!! Now when I need WiFi past 10pm I can’t access the app to allow it!!! TELUS needs to fix this

Schedules inputted not working, tech support impossible to reach
It’s been 3 weeks of schedules not working, and 7 hours trying to access support only to be put on hold transferred and then being told I had been parked in the wrong dept. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, I have disconnected and reconnected my home wifi, and still the app says schedules are on but don’t actually work. This app has been instrumental in helping my kids keep healthy boundaries with their devices as well as myself. I disconnect the TVs and phones (they don’t have cell data) at ten to protect everyone’s sleep. Devices are designed to be addictive so apps like these aré important and so helpful. So I’m very disappointed that it’s not working and as I wait on hold for hour 2 of today’s attempts to get help with this I am feeling extremely frustrated.

Useless, can’t login, only Oopps
I am trying to login this app since several months to manage my Wifi. But this app is so frustrating, it won’t login even if you try dozen of passwords resets and put correct Telus login details, strangely the same Telus ID may be logged in their other App won’t here, it will tell the repeated wrong account Opps.

Terrible app
Requires password change each time despite being saved , links work for mytelus reset but not connect. App is clunky, needs a refresh as it could be much easier to use the schedules
Non stop technical issues
Completely unusable. Had for an about a month and all it ever says is it’s experiencing technical issues.

Not very useful
Tells you if your network is active and what devices are on it. If you are having any sort of problems expect no help from this app however. It won’t even launch in offline mode if you are having connectivity issues.
