Poor Device
I’ve bought two of these devices and neither of them are worth the money or even giving them away. I can be standing right next to the booster, the Weber and zilch, nada, nothing. Buy one like Thermoworks. I’ve had one since 2008 and it still works even though it on wires.
I like it buuuut...
It's great and all but it is very difficult to get connected to my phone and do what it's supposed to do. I can't get it to connect while I'm cooking something and can only get it to connect when I'm checking the temp. It's not that easy and quite stressful.

It’s good but could be better
It works great for iPhone. Needs a tagalong app for smart watches.
