Surprise how bad it is
Isn’t this a big company in China? Keep skipping to other dramas when watching the same one; also keep asking you to buy VIP even you already a membership. Plus many other bugs, please fix them.
Amazing App
I love the shows, especially the anime’s on the app! I love how there is good subtitles, which is AI generated, everything is so amazing! Keep up the good work!!
Will not work
AirPlay and casting the video to my tv will not play at all it gets permanently stuck even though it loads fine when not doing either.
Whatever they did it sucks
I used to love this app. I had too many streaming apps so I stopped my subscription to Tencent. I tried to get it back recently. I paid for a month and it hasn’t worked. I tried to cancel when I figured out it wasn’t working. The next day. Guess what? I have a subscription until the end of the month I can’t use. My iPad knows I have a subscription to it but the app doesn’t. No matter what I do I can’t access what I paid for. I am signed in. But it doesn’t let me access vip. So never again will I have this app. Im not really into the torture of watching adds infinitum to get the “free” 24 hours. I can’t pay repeatedly for nothing. So buyer beware.

Poor support
If you buy a basic subscription and want to upgrade to VIP (because VIP is required to watch the rest of a show) you can't immediately upgrade. You have to wait till your current subscription ends which I didn't realize when I bought a quarterly subscription. Other apps allow immediate upgraded subscription and cancel the old subscription with a prorated refund

Best Enjoyed on an Apple Device
I absolutely love this app and its shows, which I enjoy on my iOS devices and the Apple TV in my bedroom. Recently though, I have begun accessing it on a Google TV streaming device in our kitchen, and the experience has become quite frustrating. I would get logged out every half an hour or so. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but it didn’t solve the issue. I finally decided to delete the app from my Google TV, and will only use it on my various Apple devices. I will throw away the stupid Google TV device when the new Apple TV is released.

Share more English dubbed shows
I love watching Tencent videos. I would like them to add more English dubbed shows more frequently. That’s the only flaw I’ve experienced.
VIP SUBSCRIBERS 1080 view
Why don’t this app 1080 view display automatically? Why do I have to choose it from options when I have paid for ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION VIP? Should be 4K being other platforms are. Displays are now 8 K. For the highest price should be able to display without having to manually adjust it.
Canceling as soon as subscription expires
I’m a VIP member who previously used the WeTV app. Couple months ago it forced me to upgrade to the Tencent app. Now every 30 minutes I have to login again it’s beyond frustrating. So in order to watch a 45 minute episode I have to login twice. If I hadn’t already paid for an annual subscription, I wouldn’t be so mad.

Fix the landscape viewing
I like to watch cdramas on iqiyi because it’s an amazing app because they have 4k and amazing cdramas. Usually, I always watch on WeTV youtube instead of the app but sometimes the cdramas come out too slow so I tried out the app. However, the app is too glitchy and half of the screen is stuck unless i turn off rotation lock on my ipad off. Then I can peacefully view my cdramas in landscape mode. Please fix this.

I enjoy the content. Just be aware that most if not all of the translations are AI generated. Also… even if you are paying the membership… you still have to pay to watch the Short Series. That’s a BIG nope from me… if I’m already paying… why do I need to pay?
awful app
so i have used this app since 2020 and it wasn't awful but it still wasnt the best app, since im currently doing a rerun of chuang i've had the app for longer this time and for some reason, the app no longer plays ANY VIDEOS. i click on different episodes/series and nothing, constantly loading. this isnt the first time has happened to me but yall seriously need to fix this app pronto👎

Tencent kick you out of login in and the vip subscription still have ads to pay more so the yearly subscription it just a scam
Ai subtitles
They use ai subtitles for English cc, which honestly isn’t a problems if they actually had someone review the subtitles and make changes, it often mixes up words to describe people so I get confused about the relationship with the mc, or key points to the story that make no sense in translation to what’s going on

Great app wish it was available for television streaming
I really enjoy this app however I wish it was available on Roku devices so I can stream on my television without the headache of casting from my phone. I love the variety offered and the shorts but it comes second to Viki and IQYI because I can watch those on my Roku tv but cannot watch Tencent without taking extra steps.
